Planning Executive, SEAO & Export Markets

As a Planning Executive, you will be responsible for production scheduling and local raw materials planning through analysing Demand and Supply. With strong analytical, numeric, planning, communication skills, you will work in a dynamic fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You are required to follow-up closely with various departments to ensure that the Master Production Schedule (MPS) is closely adhered to, and eventually lead to the fulfilment of the required delivery deadlines. This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Director, SEAO & Export Markets.

The Position:

• Schedule Production Plan and ensure Raw Materials/Intermediates availability.
• Ensure order confirmation timely upon firmed order receipt, New Wins, discontinuity or replacement enquiries in accordance with Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Responsible for local raw materials supply planning
• Review capacity matrix, safety stocks settings, MOQ's and pack sizes on a periodic basis
• Responsible for Slow Moving Obsolesce Stocks (SLOBs) reduction and prepare monthly Write off list for management approval
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports based on the performance of production and highlight issues and bottlenecks that may potentially impact the achievement of the production schedule and delivery deadlines
• Pro-active with great problem-solving skills and able to work with internal team and as well as cross functional teams to ensure meeting KPIs and Service level
• Other scheduled/ad-hoc Reports/Dashboards and Projects such as artificial Intelligence / machine learning, Robotic Process Automation(RPA) related to Supply Planning

Documentation and Reporting:

• Ensure the generation of service reports in accordance with services rendered on board vessels or in workshops.
• Ensure service reports and other relevant documentation are endorsed by the end client to their satisfaction.
• Prepare regular reports for management on sales performance and service delivery.

Requirements:

• Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrate proven experience in sales/service within the marine industry, with a strong understanding of marine products and services.
• Possess technical knowledge and proficiency in marine engineering concepts.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Express a willingness to work/attend calls outside normal working hours.

• Project progress monitoring and ensuring adherence to project milestones and schedules.
• Identify critical paths and report early warnings to Project team.
• Obtain weekly reports from respective shipyards and generate weekly reports to submit to customers.
• Incorporate any approved changes and deviations from key project milestones and identification of alternate approaches to optimize the plans

• Communicate with the client, contractor, and subcontractors about project-related issues to guarantee the site work is completed smoothly.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to set up supplies, machinery, tools, and other subcontracting tasks.
• Make sure the installation is completed in compliance with the applicable standards, approved shop drawings, method statements, project quality plan, and project specifications.
• Assist site manager or project manager oversee and manage the project's progress.

Requirements:

• Diploma in engineering or equivalent.
