RESPONSIBILITIES

The role holder will be responsible for running a reliable and responsive Financial Planning and Analysis function that provides the Director of Finance, the Senior Management Team (SMT) and managers across the Organisation with value-add financial support and analysis which facilitates effective decision making.The role holder will be responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, relevant management information to all levels of management and regularly reviewing this information. This will include provision of monthly reports, critical review and interpretation of results and value-add analysis.

Financial Planning and Forecast:

• Coordinate budget planning, forecast and review exercise across MINDS, including annual budget & workplan and mid-year review
• Establish 5 years financial planning needs of MINDS, identifying funding needs and coordinate the allocation of resources
• Ensure adequacy, timeliness and accuracy of periodic Management reports for HODs
• Analyse financial data, highlighting variances, trends and red flags
• Work with Procurement and HODs to institute cost saving measures
• Participate in business cases, review assumption and financial calculations for proposals• Assist in costing and development of pricing models
• Assist in financial system enhancement to improve controls and financial functions

Treasury:

• Coordinate surplus fund management in accordance to investment mandate
• Prepare cash flow analysis and forecast to facilitate operations and maximise use of surplus fund
• Liaise with banks for banking mandate

Other duties:

• Preparation of resolutions and forms for banks
• Ah-hoc verification works

Degree in accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite, good IT knowledge with reporting building skills is advantageous.
• Good writing and communication skills.

About our client: Our client is a mechanical contractor providing a full range of services for plant construction in Oil&Gas industry.

About the role:

• Prepare tender schedules and preliminary master programmes, ensuring detailed task sequences align with contractual requirements and stipulated contractual period.
• Work closely with the bid team to provide schedule input during the tendering process, supporting accurate estimation and planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software like Primavera Project Planner P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Establish baseline schedules and monitor progress against this benchmarks & implementing critical float path analysis to determine problem areas and alert the project team to critical scheduling issues.
• Create detailed resource plans, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet project demands.
• Provides progress reporting (Daily, Weekly & Monthly), developing/updating progress curves, documents and briefing materials as required to assess progress, key milestones, delays, and resource utilization.

About you:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years in project scheduling, preferably in construction or mechanical contracting.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, baseline management, and critical path analysis.
• Experience with resource planning (manpower, equipment, materials) and earned value management.
• Ability to prepare progress reports and project performance analysis.

About the role:

• Planning and coordination of all hull inspection and steel renewal scope to fulfill Class (ABS) requirement
• Digest and consolidate all piping and structure abnormally and ABS/BMA punch list.
• Plan and organize resources and materials to support the offshore repair campaign.
• Details the POB look ahead planning of each work by evaluating the project progress (onshore/offshore) and resources availability.
