Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and managing the day-to-day operations of project
• Liaise with subcontractors, surveyors and site supervisors/foremen to make sure that works are carried out in time and smoothly on site
• Attend regular meetings with owner/client/contractors/sub-contractors on the project related matters
• Carry out site inspection and ensure that the works were executed to the required quality standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or equivalent with minimum 2 years of working experience in Building & Construction Industry.
• Independent with good communication skills
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese clients who can only speak mandarin.

Jobscope:

Project Management:

• Assist to plan resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources
• Support and track project costs accurately to meet budget/project margin
• Support and develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Execute the Project or Services in accordance with terms & conditions agreed with customers
• Manage quality control, health and safety activities during projects execution.

Sales / Customer and Vendor Relationship:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in Energy industry
• Basic Knowledge or experience executing and completing turnkey projects
• Basic understanding of project budgeting/financial planning and cost tracking
• Able to manage project dependencies, risks and issues with the project teams to overcome challenges or propose mitigation plans
• Basic understanding of project management principles / understanding of scheduling methods
• Able to define project objectives
• Good understanding of safety, health, environmental and quality practices.
• Know-how in identifying business opportunities connected to projects and managing risk related to projects in execution
• Ability to build relationship quickly and effectively
• Outgoing and positive personality with strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Project Management certification is a plus
