1. Assist immediate superior in delegating work to subordinates, coordination of work with sub-contractors and monitor works for compliance with required specification standards.
2. To assist immediate superior to facilitate technical submission to client-consultant for approval and initiate site coordination & inspection with client/consultant/main-contractor.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

1. Monitor actual progress of every sub-contractor’s works against the schedule
2. Prepare progress reports
3. Close coordination with supervisor, surveyors, foreman and sub-contractors to ensure compliance to works specifications.
4. Initiate Design Change Control and Technical Query
5. Assist in preparing and updating report and progress of works against the scheduled programme for the project.
6. Prepare method statements and construction sequence for a given task.
7. Assist Project/Construction Manager in preparing work programme
8. Prepare technical submissions to Consultants, Clients and Authorities.
9. Assist Project Manager on document control according to company SOP.
10. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

• Assist as the engineering liaison between the company, customers, principals and contractors.
• Plan and monitor program activity to achieve an “on-time” result including follow-up with principal/suppliers.
• Join project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to projects to relevant parties.
• Oversee project works, co-ordination of repairs, replacement and replenishment of consignment stocks.
• Deliver technical specification review and resolution for the range of technical products and services.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of project management experience and able to read electrical drawings.
• Must possess own transport to do site visits.
