You will be the key personnel to our customers in providing solutions to their communications technology requirements. In order to fulfil customers’ needs, you will work closely with our product and engineering divisions to provide the precise solution.

• Understand customer demands, challenges, and objectives through assessments, information gathering and Customers, technology/industrial engagements
• Collaboration with sales & business development, product & engineering stakeholders including analyse and selection of appropriate hardware, software, and services to create the winning solution offering to customer and markets
• Developing detailed proposals, presentations, and technical documentation that outline the proposed solutions, including features, benefits, and pricing. Presenting these proposals to customers in a clear and compelling manner
• Preparation and conduct of product and solution exhibitions, demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities to showcase the capabilities and address any technical questions or concerns from customers
• Providing technical expertise and support to business development & sales team throughout the sales cycle, including participating in customer meetings, responding to technical queries, and contributing to the development of sales strategies

Qualities We Value

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Communications/ Telecommunications/Infosystems Solutions Engineering and Implementations, supporting as a Pre-Sales capacity

Qualifications

•     Must be able to navigate through system database software to configure and troubleshoot data and hardware related issues.

•     Experience and understanding of Enterprise System architecture is a plus.

•     Ability to delegate and organize responsibilities with projects involving multiple personnel is essential which include but not limited to

•     Scheduling and holding regular meetings with customers and team members to discuss system health and open tickets.

•     Experience with system upgrade process and practices as well as methodical and careful planning is essential.

•     Certifications in Lenel Onguard, Software House CCure, Avigilon ACC/ACM, S2 Access Control Systems and Video Management Systems are plus.

Duties

•     Responsible for meeting with clients to determine their system needs.

•     Ability to work with design team to engineer complete system(s).

•     Monitor and maintain system health which includes Database and application Servers.

•     Test, program and troubleshoot access control and digital video systems.

•     Follow assigned projects through to final adjustment and commissioning of installed systems.

•     Create test plans and test systems.

•     Install complete turnkey system (software and hardware).

•     Customize system to tailor to customers’ business model.

•     Work off hours to support customers and technicians globally.

•     Troubleshoot system/network related issues over the phone with customers and vendors.

•     Ability to train customers and technicians on respective systems.

•     Be available for 24 hour phone support.

•     Document and maintain system architecture and parameters specific to customer.

•     To work in compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety standards and requirements; with the safety of       self and others in mind at all time.

1. Consult with clients and understand their requirements.
2. Calculate bill of quantities, cost of materials, labour and timeframes.
3. Prepare tender packages and contracts.
4. Evaluate and estimate the project value.
5. Able to understand complete ACMV system.
6. Must be familiar with piping materials, fittings and their standards.
7. Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
8. Analyse on progressive clients and variations of orders.
9. Familiar in project schedule with competitive timeframe.
10. Able to engage with different piping suppliers for material costs.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Site preparation and co-ordination, preparation of submission documents.

2. Plan and co-ordinate on the project progress & schedule and ensure timely completion.

3. Assist Project Manager in Project Management/Engineering & Site Construction activities for solar project.

4. Technical review on design concept, engineering and operational matters on the project and related activities.

5. Co-ordination with technical/engineering resources/contractors/authorities for execution of the project.

6. Monitor all project activities such as design, testing and commissioning of project.

7. Assist in development, scoping and establishing project budget, schedule and control measures.

8. Ensure timely hand-over of project while maintaining high quality standard at optimum cost.

9. Other duties or project as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Graduated in Degree or Diploma of Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical engineering and others related field.

3. Possess excellent knowledge and understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.

4. Able to communicate effectively & diversely for prompt resolution to sites matters.

• Work closely with teams from design, development, and management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Create and monitor comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and schedules, to keep projects on track.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met on schedule and within budget limits.
• Anticipate potential challenges and develop strategies to minimize risks, maintaining smooth project flow.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure consistent updates and alignment on project goals.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects at once, focusing on each projects specific needs and timelines.
• Organize regular project status meetings and compile progress reports for senior leadership and clients.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment that promotes teamwork and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure all project activities align with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in project management.

Qualifications:

• Relevant practical experience.
• Proven experience in project engineering or related roles within the [Marine / Oil & Gas].
• Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical and non-technical information to various audiences.
