The Role

As a Project Officer, you will play a pivotal role in steering the infrastructural developments of the New Science Centre. Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass meticulous tracking of project progress, maintaining comprehensive records, and overseeing contract administration, including invoice preparation and expense reports. Additionally, you will be instrumental in facilitating seamless communication and coordination among internal and external teams at every stage of project development. This will involve organizing meetings, crafting presentation materials, and managing logistical aspects.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge and experience in Building and Project Management, ideally with 1 to 2 years of experience in managing public sector projects. Job Scope:

• Synergises with client departments and assigned working committees to identify, kick-start and eventually scale-up integrated learning solutions by leveraging innovative systems, technology, and learning science thorugh conceptualising, prototyping, implementation, and evaluation of projects and trials.
• Enhances and improves current operational systems to align with the organisation’s strategic goals and meet operational requirements.
• Integrates in-house system with other systems within client database to leverage on other datasets to better support evidence-based analysis and decision-making.
• Analyses and provide insights to client's training operations using technology and behavioural learning science to understand and shift leaner mindsets/behaviour in the following areas:
  • Building micro-communities
  • Using information to engage residents
  • Re-conceptualising community programming
  • Using digitalization to enhance learning and interest group activities
  • Re-conceptualizing how our CC spaces are utilized
• Conducts research on learning theories, data analytics and immersive technology guided by learning science principles to enhance client's training curriculum, pedagogies for future of learning experience.
• Oversees the implementation of enhancing learning effectiveness by applying principles of educational psychology to understand and address learner’s motivation, engagement and behaviour.
• Ensures learning science concepts and recommendations are effectively communicated to various stakeholders and communications plans are adapted for different group of audiences.
• Develops and implement a comprehensive programme evaluation plan, including the selection and use of appropriate outcome measures.
• Oversees development and maintainenance of system for collecting and analysing data on programme outcomes and effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

· At least 5 years’ relevant experience in Psychology and Pedogogy within a training entity/learning institution
