The incumbent manages the project from planning and execution to completion to meet the sales order. It involves pre-sales and after sales activities such as site survey and coordination, delivery and material inventory planning to ensure successful fulfilment of contract obligations. It also involves design and inventory optimization leading to profit maximization.
· Initiate, verify and report the project requirements and specifications with the sales and customers for effective project planning to successful completion. (e.g., unit rate or lump sum projects)
· Firm up the project scope of work to plan and optimize resource, workflow to fulfil the sales order requirements which include but not limited to:
Lighting project:
- design management using computer added design (CAD) software
- manage the submission sample/mock-up and design for approval (e.g., owner, architect, consultant, etc)
- oversee and accountable for bill of material (e.g., timeliness, correct specifications, etc)
· Execute the scope of project work as assigned or planned
· Prepare engineering drawings (e.g., shop-drawings, technical drawings, etc) and purchase orders for production
· Monitor and follow-up materials production schedule to meet the sales order requirements
· Manage and ensure timely delivery of project materials for on-site installation as per project’s contract schedule
· Planning, monitoring and timely completion of projects which includes preparation of detailed progress, ensuring smooth procurement, timely submission of status reports and deliveries
· Build rapport with project contractors, installers, and facility owners for smooth project execution and hand-over
· Attend site meeting for site progress coordination, problem-solving, variation orders and decision-making leading to successful project completion
· Provide staff coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training to increase project execution competency
· Coordination with clients & consultants to ensure smooth implementation of projects
· Preparation of samples according to the requirements of the project
· Coordination of issuance delivery orders with CSE and deliveries on site
· Regular update of projects status and ensure customer data and projects progress are well updated timely.
· Submit monthly project claims, invoices to customers and project report to managers
· Manage to ensure timely invoicing for successful project closure and documentation
· Responsible for workplace safety and health related matters of the projects assigned by managers
Technical Competencies
· ITE / Diploma in Electrical/ Green Building & Sustainable or related engineering qualifications.
· Knowledge in lighthing technology & smart lighthing market is preferred
· Experience in electrical engineering field
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, autocad n Diallux, etc.
