As an Intern, DSM Flex Expansion Project you are tasked to provide technical competency and support in advanced manufacturing equipment engineering at Tuas. In this role, a typical day will include:

Responsibilities:

• Active participation in process requirement, development, studies and test run for new manufacturing equipment related matters.
• Work-closely and engage on technical documentation review and preparation for new equipment.
• Proactive communication in project progress status, key issues, and other critical topics in a timely manner.
• Strong involvement in commissioning, optimization of newly installed equipment via qualification (FAT/SAT) and validation processes.

• Conduct a range of commercial analyses, studies, and reports, including but not limited to profitability analysis, market share analysis, benchmarking (e.g., pricing, competition, customer requirements, market trends), and on-demand studies.
• Develop and upkeep business plans for commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and investment decisions and establish mid- and long-term financial business plans.
• Assist the sales team on commercial initiatives and sales campaigns, e.g. for preparation and submission of RFQ responses.
• Take on the responsibility of being the company's primary user for the online sales tool and other modules of the digital service platform, ensuring compliance with the relevant set of AER business rules, such as POR.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management, Data Science, International Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of business planning / development / analytics experience in aerospace industry.
• High proficient in digital tools, including ERP and CRM applications such as MS Office, Power BI, MS Dynamics.

· Ensure staff reflected correctly in GEMS, PPM, etc.

· Track Temp and Vendor expiry and renewals.

· Track On-boarding / Off boarding etc.

· Time-sheet assignment.

PROCUREMENT

· Track Memos, SOW, Procurement records.

· Track Vendor payment.

· Filling contract documents.

ADHOC REQUESTS

· Coordinate info collection and submission (e.g. seating forecast, aging vendor payment, analytics, Budgeting, Performance Management, etc.

Skills/Requirement

· Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

· A friendly demeanor and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel).

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

· Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines.

· Ability to learn and adapt towards procedural changes.

• Provide excellent customer service and support to customers
• Develop and create menus and dishes based on customer requirements.
• Prepare quotations and proposals for customers.

Requirements:

• GCE ‘O’ Level and above
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience in food industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
