• Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions

• Assist to understanding and troubleshooting technical issues when needed

Position : Executive / Senior Executive (Salaries & Pensions) – 3 pax

Contract period : 6 months contract, with option to extend for another 6 months

Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 8.30am – 6.00pm Friday: 8.30am – 5.30pm

(Flex hours can be arranged with reporting officer)

Job scope and Requirements:

You will join Salaries & Pensions Team and support the team in the full suite of pensions and medical billings services within the Government HR and Payroll (HRP) system.

Your responsibilities include:

• Processing pension payments to pensioners, including handling failed payments and handling follow-ups and queries from outsourced vendor which processes pension administration and payment services to pensioners residing overseas.

• Processing pensioners’ and eligible dependants’ medical claims.

• Processing Medisave and Medishield payments, including handing Medisave refund and recovery.

• Following up with next-of-kins on outstanding due from deceased pensioners.

• Updating of pensioners’ records in HRP.

• Attending to Pensions hotline and helpdesk.

• Performing reconciliations of pensions-related accounts.

Requirements

Functional/Technical Competencies

• Background in Accounting, Business, IT or Finance

• Experience in managing payroll systems and/or external stakeholders (e.g. customers) will be an advantage

Qualification Required Diploma - Salary ranges $15-16/hr

Responsibilities

• Provide market and business insights and support business on financial modelling for business proposal or decision making
• Analyse monthly financial results and business drivers and provde supporting commentary on the variances between actual and budget/forecast
• Manage the annual budgeting process and analyse economic indicators and market trends to prepare forecasts
• Partner the business units to formulate key strategies and recommendations to drive growth and profitability
• Prepare adhoc presentations for COO and/or CFO
• Strengthen current internal controls and improve Finance processes and systems

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification, with CPA or relevant professional qualification
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in commercial and Big 4 accounting firms, including at least 3 years in external audit
• Strong financial modelling and analysis skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
