We are looking for ambitious, business-minded, finance oriented and enterprising FP&BA Leader to join an international team of experts in banking, compliance, and corporate account management to help support our growing operations.
The role is intended to provide leadership to financial and business resource planning and execution rather than book-keeping.
Job description and responsibilities:
· Support the preparation books of accounts, audit and tax schedules by respective provider teams
· Simplify and supervise the preparation of monthly business and financial control reports
· Ensure timely reporting of financial reports to regulatory authorities of entities in scope
· Lead client revenue reconciliation in sales channels and submit claims from business partners
· Preparation and Review of commercial agreements with external parties
· Raising of monthly invoices
· Record-keeping of monthly revenues and expenses
· Ensure timely settlement of accounts receivables and supplier payment invoices
· Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&BA) of projects, if any
· Provide financial guidance to providers where needed with due management consultation, ensuring reporting timelines are met
· Assist year-end audit, preparation of annual report, GST claims, and statutory payments
· Recommend and assist in finance process optimisation and internal control improvements
· Assist in finance digital transformation including process automation and data analytics
· Receive, analyze and support in preparing submissions to maximize grants and other Gov programs
· Timely review of applicable Policies and procedures, working with compliance
· Oversight of staff recruitment and offboarding
· Managerial support and inputs into hiring milestones, handling of staff contracts, and support for annual staff performance reviews and bonus plan roll-out
· Interface with provider to run pay-roll process
· Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
Requirements for performing the role effectively:
· Good English proficiency (written and verbal)
· Excellent and organizational communication skills
· Ability to work independently and manage projects with an organization-wide perspective
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong relationship management skills, especially in liaison with external vendor teams
· Proficiency in MS Office and other editing tools with ease of adaptation to other emerging digital technologies with demonstrated ability to create thoughtful presentations
· Min. 3 years of experience as FP&BA or an equivalent role; with a regulated financial institution an advantage
· Originality and entrepreneurial thinking - proactive in suggesting solutions to challenges.
