JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITY AND JOB DESCRIPTION:
1) Coordinating with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
2) Delegate tasks to the Project team whom are best positioned to complete them.
3) Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
4) Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple projects are running to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
5) Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
6) Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
7) Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
8) Adjust schedule and target on the project as needs when encounter changes without compromising the clients’ expectations and schedule set out.
9) Communicating with Project Director to keep the project aligned with their goals and handover schedule.
10) Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
11) Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables.
12) Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period.
13) Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1) Responsible and accountable.
2) Adaptive and quick on the feet to handle challenges on site.
3) Good communication skills with clients/IDs/consultants/subcons/vendors etc.
4) Must be able to multi-task and manage several things at one time.
5) Handle stress/pressure and work hard with tight deadlines.
6) Competency in Microsoft applications (E.g Word, Excel etc)
7) Read drawings is a must.
8) Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
