Responsibilities:
● Define and execute the roadmap with clearly articulated and well measured goals
● Identify, define and execute on projects that elevate the usability, novelty, and comprehensiveness of discovery pathways
● Drive understanding of how and where discovery initiatives can bolster content discovery and engagement
● Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data science, UX, marketing, and other partner teams to create discovery experiences that are meaningful and delightful to consumers
● Collaborate across teams to optimize content classification, browsing, and conversion experiments and measure firmly understood hypotheses and business objectives
● Plan and prioritize the backlog for development teams to ensure maximum value in deliverables
● Interpret insights and business needs and transform into detailed product requirements documents and user stories for engineering teams to execute
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical or related field
● 7+ years of total experience preferably in consumer product management in complex organisations ● Strong communication skills - Can provide information to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike and guide them to confidently informed decisions
● Strong execution skills to create high standard product specifications, product success metrics and drive product delivery through multiple teams
● Experience in data driven hypothesis testing and experimentation
● Experience working with design teams to improve the user experience for customer facing products/features
● Strong team player and earns trust of engineers and designers as an authority on customer needs ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
● Background in technical role is a plus

This is a non technical role.
Focuses on Product Execution and Customer Insights i.e. product specifications, execution & delivery; and able to work closely with Technical Engineers and Designers.
By 'Products' we are referring to e.g. Straits Times, ZaoBao, Business Times etc. Currently each has a dedicated agile team to look after/support them, and how to grow/enhance them. The Product Manager is a part of this team.
