We are looking for a Trading Operator in Singapore. You will be part of a larger Trading Operations team and will report to the Team Lead, Lights Operations. The business aims to extract maximum value through effective stock inventory management and timely scheduling of deliveries to end receivers, as well as optimizing cargo matching and tanker berthing/delivery schedule. The activities will also include administrative work to ensure timely and accurate updates in the relevant systems. These operational objectives are aligned with our BP “Who we are” framework, which are to be achieved with no compromise to BP’s operating standards.

Key Accountabilities

You will focus on managing operations in support of the Naphtha and Petrochemical business and marine activities. You will work closely with all stakeholders across Asia Pacific and Middle East, where applicable and will be responsible for: -

• Ensuring all operations activities are conducted in compliance with relevant HSSE and operating standards.
• Working closely with BP Shipping to ensure that the business complies with Group Marine Policy.
• Interfacing with Finance teams to provide assurance on trading processes and procedures.
• Scheduling the movements, and efficiently coordinate and optimise operations.
• Maintaining timely and accurate records in the relevant systems
• Working with the traders, originators, and marketers to implement new trading/marketing strategies and maximize the value of existing strategies.
• Interfacing with the regional offices on operational decisions & resolution of issues
• Supporting ancillary invoice and payment processing to shipowners, service providers and surveyors
• Proactive management and recovery of demurrage and oil loss costs
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing the relationships with third parties and associates, including terminals, shipping companies, surveyors, and marketing businesses
• Providing market intelligence to support analytics, marketer and traders’ understanding of market activity.

Position Summary:
The Production Engineer is responsible for improving the production technology of the EVAL site which will be launched in second half of 2026. The Production Engineer supports the production team for identifying, investigating, and resolving production issues in technical aspects. The Production Engineer leads technology for process control (DCS, SIS), operation condition, and product quality improvement and joins project work related to production technology development and improvement. Until the startup of EVAL production line, training and learning opportunities of EVAL production technology is provided by experienced members in Company. The Production Engineer will be a member of the commissioning and startup team of new EVAL plant and is responsible for designing and optimizing the process condition and process control system (DCS) and supports other production team members to achieve safe and stable commissioning and startup of new EVAL plant.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures and operation condition sheet in consultation with Production Superintendent and Day Supervisors from Operation.
• Identifying, analyzing, trouble shooting and improving process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, capacity, quality, process material uses and utilities consumption.
• Manage and improve process control system (DCS, SIS) and process data logging system.
• Support trial production and test run of new grade, new process and equipment with Production Technology Engineer.

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or engineering.

• Experience in designing or optimizing the process control system of chemical plants.
• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
