• Lead the AV team to provide AV & Lighting support and assistance for meetings and events. (Physical & Virtual)
• Able to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and setup and operate audio visual equipment for training, meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
• Onsite troubleshooting including the provision of logistic support to ensure smooth execution of events and meetings.
• Flexible in responding quickly to changing user requirements.
• Act as liaison with users and incoming production teams
• Provide assistance for room bookings.
• Plan, budget and execute maintenance and improvement works.
• Report maintenance requests to relevant departments and to follow up to completion.
• Manage and monitor building digital signages and update event posters / videos.
• AV equipment vendor management.
• Work closely with the facilities manager on manpower planning, maintenance of AV equipment and tasks related to the various facilities.
• Promote and drive the professional development of the AV team.
• Responsible for maintenance and upkeeping of the audio systems, infrastructure, inventory, and related stores in the venues.
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures.
• Creating maintenance and troubleshooting guides and schedules for AV equipment and to coordinate with vendors for maintenance or ad-hoc projects.
• Billing matters upon completion of events and meetings.
• To be aware of competitors in the market and prepare technical findings and reports for management review.
• To carry out any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Preferably Professional Certificate/NITEC holder with at least two (2) years of professional experience in managing a team and working in a fast-paced technology environment and technical support for audio in auditoriums and multi-purpose audio-visual facilities
• A Self-motivated, driven, analytical, assertive good team player and leader
• Good knowledge of sound, video and communication equipment in order to facilitate effective, efficient and economic use at all times.
• Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office) with Know-how in PC/ Server troubleshooting, networking and some knowledge in Creston would be an advantage.
