SENIOR MAINTENANCE EXECUTIVE / MAINTENANCE EXECUTIVE

Job Functions & Summary:

Responsible for the smooth day to day operations of the maintenance team and assist the Facilities Manager to oversee the installation, repair and upkeep Club’s property, including machines and kitchen equipment, mechanical systems, electrical systems, air condition systems, fire and life safety systems, buildings and other structures, including cost and expenses budgeting, capital and operation expenditure planning and budgeting.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the smooth operations of the facilities management team.
• Assist Facilities Manager on forecast operating and capital budget, track and monitor expenditure so as to be in line with overall budgets approved.
• Manage, supervise and ensure appointed contractors accomplish and complete repair and maintenance works according to the required timelines and standards.
• Assist Facilities Manager to plan all major maintenance and repair work schedules on a daily basis for facilities maintenance team.
• Attend to all breakdowns and provide frontline maintenance support.
• Assist Facilities Manager to ensure all facilities maintenance works are carried out with the least disruption to the business operations.
• Maintain and ensure minimum supplies of technical equipment for prompt service delivery at all times.
• Review of service vendors’ performance to identify and determine service level to meet minimum service quality level and standards.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Perform PM, CM and BM of vehicles;

• Ensure the maintenance services and quality work is carried out with high quality in-accordance with the guidelines and report to workshop supervisor for necessary technical assistance;

• To complete the job within the specified time given;

• Conduct diagnostic check, troubleshooting, automotive transmission and engine overhaul if required;

• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and rectifying vehicle defects;

• Maintain the tools and equipment well;

• Ensure good housekeeping in workshop at all times.

Key Tasks

Drive Safety and Sustainability

· Ensure compliance with Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards.

· Report accidents, near misses, and incidents according to WSH protocols.

· Maintain environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.

· Prepare compliance reports for EMS standards.

Drive Continuous Improvement

· Engage in initiatives to improve time, cost, and quality management.

· Provide input on smart facilities management trends and technologies.

Manage Facility Operations

· Conduct routine inspections, schedule repairs, and implement preventative maintenance.

· Track and close fault calls, complete custodial service documentation, and respond to user requests.

· Inspect and track building assets, coordinate maintenance, and procure items as needed.

· Deploy personnel to address facility-related feedback and review progress reports for actionable insights.

Vendor and Contractor Management

· Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance tasks and manage contracts to meet quality and compliance standards.

Requirements

· Minimum Diploma in Engineering in Electronics And Communication Engineering, Engineering, Facilities Management, Estate Management, Building or relevant related fields

· 1-3 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management

· knowledge of BMSMA and WSH is an advantage

· Knowledge in URA, SCDF Regulations is an advantage

· Proficiency in Ms Office Applications / Power Platform Applications

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

· Detail-oriented with a proactive, hands-on approach.

· Customer-service oriented in communicating / collaborating with internal/external stakeholders

· Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Demonstrate a positive attitude with a keen sense of responsibility and high motivation.

Job Description:

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and restore electrical faults and power supply.
• Troubleshoot and repair air conditioning issues.
• Fix water pipe bursts, mechanical problems, medical gas systems, and other facility equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Senior Technician or Engineer.

The Executive will assist the Operations Manager in managing daily operations and planning manpower to drive operational excellence in the Nursing Home. This includes ensuring that the Nursing Home is in compliance with all regulatory, licensing, safety, and environmental requirements.

In addition, they will also have the opportunity to lead, train, supervise, and mentor staff in areas such as Facilities Management, Repair and Maintenance, Fire Command Centre, and Transportation sections of the Operations department.
