3. During the training period, the contract technician will be paired up with a senior technician for OJT
(On-the-job) training on a buddy system. After the senior technician or Supervisor has certified that the
new technician is competent to work on his own, then the new contract technician will work solo under
the supervision of his work buddy.

We are looking for an Technician/Engineer with experience in Mechanical/Precision engineering field with a positive and willing to learn attitude.

You will ensure timely assistance to our customers by supporting the maintenance and repair of Spindles.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of spindles and CNC machines
• Responsible for following the work processes and correct procedures for Disassembly / Assembly of mechanical parts or equipment
• Provide on field support at various customer locations, when required
• Perform installation at customers’ plant
• Support projected targets and handle the repair process individually, when required
• Prepare equipment, jigs fixtures and special tools whenever required

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher/NITEC in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years in Machine tool assembly and repair
• Basic mechanical / electrical machinery knowledge
• Basic knowledge of inspection and measuring equipment.
• Ability to operate mechanical / electrical equipment’s such like power drill, bearing puller etc.
• Ability to interpret/understand hydraulic, Pneumatic and basic electrical circuits
• Ability to follow the correct procedure for Disassembly / Assembly of mechanical part or equipment.
• Basic Knowledge in documentation and should be able to sketch drawings (Interpret assemblies into documents)

General Description

The position of Field Technician is to be responsible for troubleshooting and repair of existing security system within the customer premises.

Main Responsibilities

Troubleshooting and repair of security issue.

Responding to scheduled, unscheduled or urgent calls for repairs.

Coordinate with subcontractors on maintenance works.

Hands-on troubleshooting and security system programming, integration and implementation.

Requirements

Min Nitec / Higher Nitec in Electronics / Electrical

At least 1 year relevant working experience in related security industry

Familiar with security access control system, CCTV, alarm systems, carpark barrier, under-carriage surveillance system is an advantage

Past experience with Lenel, S2, Milestone, Genetec, Tyco Software House, CEM systems and Cisco systems will be considered first

Able to commit to stand-by duties on evening and weekends

Duties:

• Provide technical support and solutions for equipment-related issues.
• Conduct performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, and safety checks on equipment.
• Install, set up, maintain, repair, and calibrate equipment.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, environmental health, safety guidelines, and relevant regulations.
• Communicate equipment status and concerns to the team leader.
• Coordinate activities with subcontractors, vendors, and service technicians.
• Maintain accurate equipment databases, including inventory and service history.
• Verify technical and security analysis for new equipment.
• Monitor inventory status, purchase maintenance parts as needed, and recommend spare critical equipment.

Requirements:

• Min ITE/ Diploma in relevant field.
• Min 2 years of working experience in Manufacturing industry

• Receive, collect and sort samples
