Requirements:

Must be proficient in utilizing technical tools such as BERT testers, cable testers, and fiber testers.

Requires experience in working in communications closets

o Must be able to perform rack and stack activities

Must be able to safely lift heavy objects

o Must understand cable patching processes and procedures in copper and fiber

o Experience in either or both CommScope and Corning structured cables (copper and fiber)

o Must have a basic knowledge of data communications networking.

Must be able to assist in troubleshooting issues

Must understand network terminology

Requires good interpersonal communications skills

o Must be able to explain technical issues in a way the client will understand an

• 5+ years of experience in Data Centre operations and environment
• Must have a basic knowledge of local and wide area networking.

• Support production team with corrective maintenance (CM), troubleshooting and repair work
• Carry out ad-hoc technical related duties as required

Description:

Ampoule cleaning and refurbishment @ Science Building 5 NUS – 50% of the time

• Cleaning ampoules at Science Building 5 NUS
• Refurbishment of ampoules (for used ampoules having high leak) and quality check
