• Responsible for timely closing of monthly/yearly financial accounts.
• Perform month end and year end closing procedures including GL adjustments / reclassifications / accruals.
• Assist in ensuring that accounts are submitted on an accurate and timely basis.
• Processing journal entries and ensure all data are accurate and complete.
• Prepare monthly related parties reconciliation and ensure all intercompany transactions are tallied.
• Preparing of Audit schedules, liaise with auditors for statutory reporting
• Undertake account analysis and variance commentary in monthly reporting pack.
• Ensure the completion of the GST with accuracy and filing on a timely basis.

Job Description:

• Updating signatory logs (add or remove signers) on board resolution date and bank confirmation date that the update has been completed.
• Complete the banking forms and gather documents to the bank for change of bank signatories.
• Ad-hoc administrative inclusive but not limited to the following (scanning and saving of documents to shared drive, routing documents for signing, arranging for courier of documents)
• Extraction of information from Bloomberg (monthly exchange rates for Finance, FX rates for BUs, SORA, exchange rates for FP&A team for Budget, exchange rates for Procurement team etc)

Job Description:

• Accurately complete month-end closing and annual financial reporting for all accounts, including AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and GL reconciliation, ensuring compliance with SFRS and company standards.
• Monitor and follow up on AR & AP payment statuses.
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns.
• Conduct monthly stock-taking and compile inventory status reports.
• Process purchase orders and prepare invoices and delivery orders for both local and international customers.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to track shipment statuses and keep customers informed.
• Document damaged or defective items from suppliers and follow up for claims.
• Work with auditors and tax agents to prepare financial statements and tax computations.
• Maintain and update administrative records.
• Perform additional ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent with min 2 years of relevant accounting experiences
• Preferably with working experience/knowledge of Singapore GST and Corporate Tax
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Office, working knowledge of SAP B1 and familiarity with import/export operations are advantageous
• Ability to work, deliver & meet deadlines independently
• Analytical, meticulous, systematic and process oriented
