• Assist in the planning and implementation of ICT-related programs (e.g. staff professional development in ICT, learning journey using ICT, cyber wellness program, etc.)
• Assist school-initiated ICT/AVA infrastructure projects, including providing progress report, manage vendors and contracts.
• Gather ICT/AVA needs of the school.
• Provide professional inputs and recommendations on ICT/AVA solutions that can meet the school’s needs.
• Implement preventive measures and maintenance for ICT & AVA Equipment.
• Assist Head of Department and ICT Associate/Manager in the preparation of all necessary administrative duties for the purchase and condemnation of AVA and ICT equipment.
• Provide ICT/AVA/multimedia support for school events (e.g. on site and online streaming events)
• Assist in liaising with vendors for the maintenance and repair of AVA and IT equipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting and support for school-owned devices.
• 1st level of troubleshooting of student-owned devices.
• Understanding and support various operation system of student-owned devices (e.g Chrome OS, IOS or Windows)
• Advising students on the proper use of student-owned device applications and online learning systems.
• Supporting Home-Based Learning logistic loaning and school hotline help in terms of online learning portal or systems.
• Checking and set-up of equipment used in classroom and for examinations such as portable speakers.
• Assist in rectifying and identify equipment that requires maintenance work.
• Troubleshooting of AV and IT equipment in classroom on a daily operation.
• Providing support to teachers in the use of AV and IT equipment in classroom (e.g. Image and sound projection, observation video recording, school-owned device such as iPad and Chromebook support in classroom during lessons)
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Chrome OS and Chromebook functionality, including efficient navigation, app usage, file management, and troubleshooting, to support and enhance the educational experience in a school environment utilising Chromebooks as student devices.
• Assist to book resources n RBS via school timetable and upon ad-hoc request by teachers.

The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Polytechnic Diploma in IT or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experiences in AV/IT support, Basic knowledge of troubleshooting devices (Chrome, IOS or Windows operating system).
• Inventory management, video and photo editing will be an advantage

SG Cares is a national movement to build a caring and inclusive home for all, where Singaporeans can show care and consideration to others. In 2018, pilot studies on how to grow more volunteers and better channel their efforts to areas where they can have greater impact in the neighbourhood were established in two towns.

The pilots showed that a dedicated effort at the local-level to grow the volunteer pool, build their capabilities, and coordinate the demand and supply of volunteers, was important to make a sustained impact. Hence, MCCY will be partnering community groups to establish Volunteer Centres (VC) for volunteer matching, deployment and training in the towns.

The VC will help:

a. build volunteer management capabilities;

b. broker sustained partnerships between volunteering groups; and

c. work with service providers to meet their needs for volunteers

2. Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Management

• Provide support in the overall aspect of the volunteer management programme (Recruitment, Training and Retention) for the town of Kreta Ayer / Bukit Merah
• Network and form partnerships with corporates, schools, religious organizations, and other ground-up volunteer groups
• Coordinate meetings with multiple stakeholders and follow up on volunteering initiatives and projects
• Support the development of framework and training curriculum for volunteers
• Organise and provide support in events including formal or informal recognition, reward programmes, and appreciation events for volunteers
• Document and monitor outcomes
• Maintain and update Volunteer Programme materials (such as applications, policies and procedures, volunteer handbook, etc)
• Support all secretariat work and reports of the volunteer programmes to management, internal and external stakeholders
• Update and manage database of volunteers to ensure accurate and up-to-date records

Marketing and Communication

• Support the development of strategy and operationalize plans to market the services and volunteering opportunities to community and corporate partners
• Plan and manage all publicity efforts to drive volunteer recruitment and organise outreach events
• Support in the management of the social media account and help to generate content
