Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate senior individual to join the Bank’s Group Investment Management team to lead the Investment Portfolio prioritisation approach, including accountability over targets and outcomes.
The team’s objective is to provide oversight and assurance in the investment management portfolio, with a focus on prioritisation, benefits capture, efficiency and execution risk. The team works under the guidance of the Global Head, Group Investment Management, the COO, TTO & Global Head, Group Transformation, TTO MT and Group MT. The office also collaborates closely with other senior business and functional leaders in the bank to build and drive the group-wide transformation.
Strategy
· Drive the Group-wide Investment Portfolio prioritisation approach and embed the aforementioned process, including ensuring the prioritised programmes are aligned to change delivery standards; are delivering the benefits as per the business cases; and provides insights into the health and performance of the portfolio to drive accountability and efficient utilisation of the Group’s investments to achieve its regulatory and strategic objectives
· Manage the Group’s Investment Portfolio planning process including the Corporate Plan
· Gather insight through the Quarterly Performance Review structure to support management of the Group’s change performance against its strategic objectives
Business
· Act as the deputy for the Global Head, Group Investment Management
· Lead the group investment portfolio review, productivity value capture, and reporting (includes modelling and forecasting of portfolio performance, etc.) to support the investment portfolio prioritisation activities
· Support the production of updates on investment to the GMT and PLC Board regularly (i.e. every six months)
· Support the production of regular updates on Change to the GNFRC and GRC and address their ad hoc requirements, where required
· Facilitate the investment reviews and investment allocation meetings
Key Responsibilities
· Work with individual Businesses and Functions in the context of change management, both to provide general guidance and to support them to resolving specific issues
· Gather feedback from stakeholders, and prioritise and embed these items as improvements into the roadmap of the Group’s Change Standards

· Ensure team structure/capacity is reviewed to enable delivery of client outcomes.
· Ensure the provision of on-going training & development, ensure that direct reports are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles and that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risk.
· Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
· Create a motivational and challenging environment for staff which is conducive to creativity and performance with customer centricity in mind.
· Provide feedback on transformation leaders to their people leaders, as part of performance reviews
Risk Management
· Identify, assess, monitor risks to the Group related to Change. Support the development and implementation of controls and mitigation plans.
· Ensure support procedures are in place and adhere to Group Security & Audit policies within the team
Governance
· Responsible for timely and accurate reporting to SC management teams regarding investment portfolio.
· Provide input into the Bank’s Investment Prioritisation approach including but not limited to the Quarterly Review and the investment portfolio review forum that governs all new transformational change investments in the Bank and relevant business case, design and architecture reviews, etc

Our Ideal Candidate
· 10+ years of experience in Project and Change Management (preferably in financial services)
· Experience delivering complex programmes / projects in IT and/or a financial services environment
· In-depth knowledge and experience in Change Leadership
· Appreciation and understanding of data management and its implication on the Portfolio Analytics capability
· Deep understanding of change governance standards, change management, financial management, project lifecycle and related lifecycle stages.
· Hands-on experience with PM Tools – specifically Clarity and ideally ADO.
· Experience in both Waterfall/Classic and Agile project delivery methodologies.
· Growth mindset. Appetite, ambition and ability to experiment and learn quickly.
· Proven ability to prioritise issues within a large, rapidly changing environment and manage a wide variety / high volume of tasks while maintaining quality delivery.
· Understands the operational environment, processes and controls needed to execute requirements.
· A results-driven professional. Takes ownership to deliver, with a high level of flexibility and a preparedness to ‘roll up his/her sleeves’ to get the job done.
· Strong influencing and communication skills – oral, written and presentation. Proven success in communicating technical information in a simple way.
· A team player; multi-culturally aware with a proven ability to work in a global service delivery model, with onshore and offshore resources.
· A proven ability to work independently, solve problems and make balanced judgments / decisions
