• Lead a team of workers and ensure that work is done in accordance to drawings, schedule and within budget.
• Report to his superior matters which require their attention.
• Control and guide general workers under his charge.
• Co-ordinate work with sub-contractors.
• In charge of receipt and transfer of construction materials, plants and machinery.
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
• Implement necessary control measures to mitigate the unsafe work and to prevent recurrence.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Building Construction Safety Supervisors (BCSS)/ Supervise Construction Work in Workplace Safety and Health Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Residential Construction Industry.

· Understand which materials are best for both new construction and historic buildings and obtain them beforehand

· Prepare walls and ceilings for stucco and cement by cleaning, taping and fixing any holes or cracks

· Create a mortar mix that is perfect for the particular application, modify it when necessary and ensure the new plaster matches the consistency and texture of the existing plaster

· Coat walls with plaster and go over the undercoat to make sure the final coat is flawless and requires few touch-ups

· Design the desired texture and create ornamental plaster, recreating original designs when necessary

· Construct scaffolding so plaster can be applied to ceilings and other hard-to-reach places and re-position it as needed

· Hang sheets to protect doors and windows from wet plaster and remove light switch covers

· Remove all tools and scaffolding from the job site and ensure high cleanliness standards are maintained at the end of every workday

1.Proven experience as a driver

2. Valid class 4 driver's licence

3. Clean driving record

4. Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)

5. Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods

6. A polite and professional disposition

7. Ability to remain calm in streesful driving situation
