Overview

The business development executive will be responsible for growing the business in Singapore and other Asian markets. This involves not only the sales process but also marketing and partnership-building, though online methods, speaking opportunities, and agreements with other training providers. The business development executive will identify clients’ needs and create training programs that address those needs, and that ideally can be used as the foundation of programs for other clients. This individual is expected to grow the business by identifying new clients and new revenue streams beyond current operations. He or she will also be responsible for potential future staffing, including local interns; sales and marketing personnel; curriculum designers; and, contract facilitators in other countries if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Growing the company’s customer base through new partnerships, renewing existing relationships, and identifying potential new sectors or solutions to drive greater value to clients
• End-to-end responsibility on customer growth with focus on meeting the company’s targets. This includes developing ideas for campaigns, pitching, execution, and performance review with partners
• Directly involved in the ideation, incubation and scaling of new use cases and solutions
• Lead, manage and grow a team of Account Managers and Business Development Executives to exceed their targets

1. Job Purpose

Reports to BME Engineers in the commissioning of medical equipment, breakdown services, planned preventive maintenance, decommissioning, and disposal of hospital medical equipment.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
   
2. Provide technical support to all hospital personnel in the commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
   
3. Supervise the specialist vendors and appointed contractors on medical equipment maintenance works to ensure quality of works and compliance to required standards.
   
4. Update and collect feedback from users regularly on the maintenance, performance, reliability and quality of medical equipment.
   
5. Check, analyse and investigate faults / complaints / hazards on medical equipment and assist BME engineers in mapping out and implementation of required action plans.
   
6. Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices that the hospital subscribes to, including other quality initiatives driven by hospital and department.
   
7. Manage stock and spares for front line technical support and assist stock supervisor in documentations.
   
8. Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
   
9. Assist BME Engineer in coordinating services for medical equipment projects with vendors, contractors and appointed project consultants.
   
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by BME engineers.

3. Job Specification/Requirements

3.1 Qualification: Diploma preferably in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering OR Vocational Training Certificate in Electronics / Electromechanical / Mechatronics Engineering with practical experience of at least 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Constantly maintain an accurate understanding and application of Commodities Trading Contracts and their obligations

• Perform planning and execution of shipment process in accordance to the relevant commodity contracts
