Responsibilities

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly organised Senior / Logistics Operations Executive to be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and managing third-party logistics providers, driving process improvements to increase performance and quality.

• Build and maintain relationships with third-party logistics companies and port authorities to ensure that customers’ needs are met effectively and competitively;
• Supervise and support third-party logistics warehousing, to ensure that targets and contractual obligations are met;
• Coordinate import and export operations, ensuring all necessary local licenses and permits are obtained through collaboration with stakeholders and customs brokers;
• Plan and facilitate inventory activities;
• Coordinate budget analysis for logistics operations, including assessing changes in costs to minimize operational impact;
• Optimise operational costs, to ensure that budgets are met;
• Identify areas for process improvement in logistics, to drive performance excellence;
• Develop quality management measures to improve quality standards;
• Manage warehouse safety activities to ensure compliance, facilitating relevant discussions for assessments and risk management;
• Obtain insights from logistics data for continuous improvement.;

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in logistics, international trade, or supply chain management;
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations;
• Knowledge of customs clearance operations and management;  Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
• Ability to review and improve processes to support continuous improvement initiatives;
• Strong health and safety knowledge and awareness;
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision;
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office.
