Duties & Responsibilities:

· Ensure efficient sorting, retagging and/or tagging of bags and transferring them to correctly labelled trolleys and containers

As part of our Operations Consultancy Practice, you will be responsible for providing guidance to Changi’s overseas airports, as well as client airports in operational areas, such as the planning and management of passenger terminals, airside operations, Airport Operational Control Centre (AOCC) management, cargo operations, operational efficiency, Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) etc.

You will need to analyse operational flows / processes and the passenger journey, to identify pain points and be able to recommend solutions i.e., in areas of process / facility / system reorganisation etc. The aim is to help our airports improve operational efficiency, while managing costs effectively. In addition, you may need to guide or support our asset and client airports in developing processes, SOPs and manuals to meet regulatory, operational and business needs.

You will need to engage our airports’ partners and their stakeholders, as well as work with colleagues from different areas e.g., Commercial, Traffic Development, Master-planning, Project Management etc. in developing integrated solutions for our clients.

To perform well in this role, you must have an analytical mind and be able to quickly identify the root causes and issues affecting operations and ultimately, customer service. The dormitory supervisor resides in the program’s summer dormitory, monitors program participants in the evening and overnight, and provides supervision on program field trips. The dormitory supervisor also supervises the residential staff and program tutors, who are primarily undergraduate students, and serves as a liaison between the Upward Bound staff and staff from Boston University's Office of Residence Life and Office of Residential Safety. The dormitory supervisor also helps with delivering tutor training. • Support Head (Kitchen) in overseeing the operations of 1 Institutional Kitchen in meals productions, ensuring timely delivery, food safety and quality standards.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

- Assist in the overall management of 1 Institutional Kitchen, ensuring service levels are being met.
- Oversee the preparation and distribution of meals according to dietary requirements and food hygiene standards.
- Ensure strict compliance of all relevant food and workplace safety regulations, including follow up on audit recommendations.
- Co-manage a team of workers and vendors to ensure smooth running of operations.
- Work with the team and various stakeholders to optimize workers’ productivity and morale.
- Keep abreast of changes in the food industry, i.e. food safety management, SFA regulations, industry best practices.
- Execute contingency plans when required.
- Ensure compliance to risk measures from the risk management framework.

Requirements

(Minimum education and experience profile required by the jobholder to perform the job).

Education

- Diploma or professional qualifications in Food & Beverage or Manufacturing Operations.
Experience

- Relevant working experience in a food establishment.
- Candidate with institutional catering experience is preferred.
Skills

- Details oriented with good organization skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Good knowledge of food handling, food safety and hygiene standards
-Proficient in Microsoft Office.
