The Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore (NUS) is inviting applications for an Assistant Manager / Manager in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide support to the GIS Unit and its GIS educational programmes.

The GIS Unit spearheads the research, training and applications of GIS in the Department and aims to extend beyond the academic realm to foster an Asia-focused GIS ecosystem with global reach. The Department is the leading centre in Singapore for GIS research and teaching, hosting comprehensive geospatial and other laboratory facilities. It currently runs four GIS educational programmes at undergraduate and graduate levels based upon a diverse range of courses; the MSc in Applied GIS at the graduate level and the GIS Minor at the undergraduate level, and the Graduate Certificate in Applied GIS and Professional Certificate in Applied GIS for Continuing Education and Training. We’re seeking a Senior Growth Analyst to drive our Global Verticals GTM to success! This role will report to the AVP of Field Growth within our Business Operations team.

As a main function of the Revenue Operations department, this role owns a regional funnel and is responsible for analyzing, tracking targets, and optimizing the sales funnel to drive revenue growth.

You will collaborate with the Sales, Account Management, and Client Services Directors and their teams to drive business insights, flag areas of risk and opportunity, enforce workflows, drive adoption, and track KPIs.

So, what will you be doing all day?

• Conduct periodic analyses of quantitative and qualitative data to drive business insights and flag areas of risk and opportunity in our sales funnel;
• Act as the regional GM’s right hand and main Ops POC, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes;
• Implement global strategic initiatives to ensure alignment across different regions of the organization;
• Lead weekly meetings with Sales and Account Management Directors to support and track the performance of reps;
• Own and lead end-to-end team optimization initiatives related to the performance of the revenue motion and its KPIs;
• Build Salesforce dashboards for the teams, track daily and weekly KPIs, and optimize operational day-to-day processes;
• Work with the teams to drive the adoption and enforcement of operational tools and workflows;

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue, as well as maintain accuracy of information and enhance automation efforts in reservation system.

• Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at market sales strategy meetings.

• Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to properties.

• Perform all Revenue Management month end reporting and auditing and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting, targeting need areas and balancing financial expectations.

• Accurately generate, process and update all property and market Revenue Management reports and serve as primary source for majority of reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team.

• Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rate hurdles, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks.

• Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools.

• Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems.

· Maintenance of marketing materials (such as marketing decks and factsheets) for Funds and Certificates that are advised or managed by the Firm including periodic update of performance statistics and related content

· Be fully conversant with and adept at extracting relevant data and analytics from available sources in use by the Firm

· Actively review and curate communications issued by the Banks and Research Houses from which the Company sources research and recommendations. Support Financial Advisors in responding to reverse enquiries received from clients relating to such research and recommendations

· Support the Head of the IC Team in administering ongoing and ad hoc initiatives and projects such as maintaining a Firm wide tracker of advancement of business development initiatives, scheduling and conduct of Client Portfolio reviews, tracking adoption and efficacy of recommendations made by the Firm, etc

· Ensure strict adherence to the Company’s policies, rules & regulations

Requirements:

· Degree in Banking/Business/Economics/Engineering/Finance/Maths

· Passion and interest in the financial markets
