The Role

Your Profile

Strategic Manpower Planning

• Identify and analyse key industry trends, manpower challenges and skills needs through basic data analytics
• Engage strategic accounts and engage companies to diagnose gaps and identify opportunities
• Recommend the design of appropriate strategic human capital solutions based on industry or enterprises’ business and manpower needs

Programme Management

• Plan and review budget requirements and ensure compliance to policies and processes
• Organise or support outreach and marketing events such as career events and industry engagements
• Track programmes’ progress and analyse industry related information to evaluate and make recommendations for management decision making

Requirements

• Relevant work experience in industry engagement, account/ project management and/or consultancy roles
• Strong problem-solving skills and be able to address challenges arising from partner management

General Manager, Multi-Sport Academy

As the General Manager of the Multi-Sport Academy, you will oversee the management and holistic development of student-athletes who are given the opportunities to acquire and strengthen sport-relevant complex movement skills to maximise their sporting potential as they explore and pursue a suitable high-performance sport pathway.

You will work closely with coaches, the National Youth Sport Institute (NYSI) and the various National Sport Associations (NSAs) to design and manage a multi-year programme that profiles and nurtures student-athletes to optimise their talent. You will manage student-athletes’ data and provide insights to guide talent identification, recruitment and athlete development strategies.

You will also be championing the holistic development of student-athletes and provide athlete-life mentoring. You will develop and review action plans and initiatives aligned with the academy’s mission, vision and priorities, managing resources effectively to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

· At least 3 years of experience in sports administration or working with youth athletes

· Passion in sports, and have interest and experience in playing or managing multiple sports

· Commitment to values inculcation and character development in youth athletes

JOB SUMMARY

• The purpose of this role is to support the AEOI stream lead and provide tax technical advisory and support to both Standard Chartered (SC) group and countries stakeholders associated with client tax information reporting regimes (e.g. FATCA and CRS), US withholding and reporting including Chapter 3 and 61 of U.S. Internal Revenue Code and QI agreement (“Regimes”) and Crypto Assets Reporting Framework (CARF).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model. In relation to Central Tax Information (CTI) which is the subject matter expert on client tax information regimes and CARF, this includes:

• Profile – general awareness of Regimes and CARF amongst stakeholders.
• Risk ownership – support the AEOI stream lead in ensuring that the requirements of the Regimes and CARF are sufficiently clear and complete in the CTI Standards, including reporting specificities and requirements

Business

• Provide clear and concise as well as timeliness in advice of the Regimes and CARF to support stakeholders

Processes

• Provide tax technical support as appropriate to the stakeholders, including to the Reporting Team during the annual reporting process, including drafting of related correspondence to the tax authorities.

People & Talent

• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values

Risk Management

• Provide oversight of key deliverables against regulatory timelines.
• Manage annual Residual Risk Assessment process engagement with Reporting team, escalating issues as relevant to the Head of CTI.

Governance

• Develop appropriate documentation covering all key tax technical positions including that on reporting and their operational impact for FATCA, CRS and QI reporting regimes covering SCB’s global footprint
• Keep abreast of development in CARF and develop appropriate guidance documentation to assist in stakeholders’ implementation covering SCB’s global footprint.
