• Daily Operation

· Responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe, cost efficient and environmentally sound operation standard in compliance with OSM Thome as well as International Marine regulations for a given number of vessels.

· Follow up on closure of deficiencies noted during inspections.

· Incident / Accident / Crisis Management & investigation

· Member of TSM Emergency Response Team.

· Liaise with the Insurance Manager (or Principals) in H&M claims handling. Provide technical input, and cost information, if required, for P&I claims (cargo and crew) and H&M claims.

Crewing

· Make performance evaluations of Masters/ Chief Engineers assigned to the vessel under supervision.

· Provide input to the Manning Department on recruitment of Senior Officers for the assigned vessels.

Dry Docking & Repairs

· Plan, manage, monitor and execute vessels repairs, dry dockings and conversions within agreed budgets.

· Arrange and follow up repairs and services.

· Coordinate with the assigned vessels and prepare the dry-docking specification in conjunction with Docking Superintendent, Fleet Services. Submit the specification to yards for quotations, evaluate the received quotations and present them to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for review.

· Attend the dry-docking, discuss shipyard invoicing before presenting same to the Fleet Group Manager and/or Chief Operating Officer for approval.

· Prepare docking report.

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible for the vessel accounts, approx. handles 5-7 vessels.
• Process PI (Purchase Invoices) by matching PO (Purchase Order) and GRA (Goods Receipt Acknowledgement) integrated from SMMS to NAV.
• Generate monthly Sales Invoices/Manager Statement from NAV to owners.
• Liaise with respective departments to ensure all purchase costs incurred by vessels are properly charged out to owner timely manner.
• Any other tasks assigned time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Accounting or Business Studies, preferably 2-3years of working experience of full/partial accounts.
• Meticulous and attention to details is a must.
• Must from ship management industry & maximum 1month notice
• Working experience in shipping industry is an advantage.
• Well verse with Microsoft Office and experience with ERP system is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Department Description:

The Derivatives Clearing Operations team supports the post-trade activity of Societe Generale’s ETD, FX and OTCC business and services servicing clients including Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Corporations.

This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Client Facing MO manager in Singapore.

Market coverage: Global ETD markets

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the daily client money reconciliations & controls for APAC exchanges and ensure compliance with the regulations of the relevant jurisdictions.
Ensure all regional regulatory reporting is completed accurately and on a timely basis.
Identify, investigate and explore relevant internal or external data sources / datasets / technologies to assist with process improvement and data analysis.
Participate in process improvements or BAU (business as usual) change topics/projects as required.
Handle daily transactional activities, position & event management and ensure their completion on a timely manner
Handle direct client’s transactional queries, perform investigation for proper resolution &/or direct them to appropriate teams as appropriate.

Responsibilities

Pre-operative Issues

1. Monitor closely pre-operative patients seen in the wards and clinics on the outcomes of decisions for surgery.
2. Equip patients and their families with all the information they need regarding patient’s diagnosis, need for intervention and possible outcomes as guided by the clinicians.
3. Assist in the education of:

• Pre-operative investigations
• ICU orientation
• Medications
• Financial counselling and admission procedures

1. Ensure all appropriate investigations ordered are carried out before any surgical intervention.
2. Facilitate smooth workflow between cardiac clinic, cardiac lab, OT, CTICU, ward and other hospitals.
3. Ensure all patients scheduled for surgery are booked into Optimized Operating Theatre Scheduling (OOTS).
4. As a patient and family liaison, be contactable during office hours.

Post-operative Issues

1. Inform and update patients’ families on patients’ progress and be a liaison between primary care team and patients’ progress.
2. Assist nursing staff and related allied health professionals in educating and facilitating the clinicians care plan.
3. Ensure that follow up appointments and post[1]discharge medical instructions are well informed to patient and patients’ families.
4. Ensure that all patients who are fit to join the Cardiac Rehab program (CRP) has a CRP appointment.
5. As a patient and family liaison, be contactable during office hours.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties

1. Assist in developing educational materials that will benefit to the public, primary care givers and patients.
2. Assist in administrative and research activities of Adult Cardiac Surgeons.
3. Provide information on emergency resuscitation procedures to all caregivers if the job holder is qualified or provide alternative resources for such procedures.
4. Assume any additional responsibilities assigned by Clinical Director and Head of Department of Dept of Cardiac, Thoracic & Vascular Surgery.
