8. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business issues and support commercial needs.

9. Communicate insights driven, strategic recommendations to the management on KPIs and performance.

10. Strategic projects : Business modelling based on strategic direction to calculate impact/investment

11. Analysis and tracking of projects to ensure on track in schedule, Provide lens for sales to drive performing categories and correct non performance.

12. Perform data driven root cause analysis from high level down to individual SKUs to identify opportunities and key areas of improvements for timely resolution.

13. Work on budget and quarterly forecasts to ensure that assumptions are sound. Flagging out risks and opportunities and ensure alignment between commercial and finance.

Requirements

1. A good accounting/finance degree from a reputable tertiary institution

2.Prior track record of working in the accounting and finance industry but with further acute business acument and business development skills and track record

3. Hands on , never say die attitude; a Type A personality

Ensure day-to-day compliance to operational standards

Inventory control, labor cost, and budget management

Responsibilities:

• Execute risk management and workplace safety and health management system (WSHMS) plans.
• Develop WSH training courses.
• Encourage the development of WSH-related skills and training.
• Train staff members to support audit checks and perform regular activity checks on the job.
• Examine data regarding WSH conditions, performance, and procedures.
• Assess hazardous work practices, circumstances, and noncompliance with WSH regulations.
• Assess the effects of risks to health and safety.
• Perform investigations into WSH incidents and accidents.
• Organize WSH program activities.
• Stay up to date with legislative requirements.
• Provide safety instructions.
• Review documents related to WSHMS reports.
• Manage risk controls and the ordering of personal protective equipment.
• Conduct workplace inspections to confirm that risk controls are being used.
• Evaluate the goals and policies set forth by WSH.
• Create WSH protocols in coordination with other team members.
• Promote the establishment of WSH procedures.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety or equivalent.
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WHSO) with at least 5 – 7 years of experience in Safety Management or Workplace Safety role
