Job Duties:

Your main duty is to handle export planning. This involves allocating space for local exporting containers at the Terminal, and shifting of the containers across various Terminals, consolidating them at the Loading Terminal where the Loading Vessel will berth at. You will also be planning and prearranging the lying containers at the yard to ensure smooth loading operations. In addition, you will also be involved in empty container management where you will pick and nominate empty containers to fulfil orders by the liners.

Scope of role:

Coordinate, drive and oversee operations activities to enable company to meet commitments made to business partners of the Southeast Asia region's projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Project coordination and Oversight:

Responsibilities include -

Project planning

Lead coordination associated with drafting, reviewing, reivsing and obtaining approvals for funded projects;

Monitor coordination with country leaders for proposal development.

Project preparation

Upon approval, coordinate project launch and kick-off meetings with project stakeholders.

Project oversight

After kick-off meeting, assemble monthly reports from country treams that summarizes progress and feedback for each project, analyze for compliance with commitments made to project funding, forward executive summary of progress, issues and risks to Regional Director.

Project reporting

Assemble and refine project reports from country teams for each project budget, coordinate reviews by stakeholders, distribute reports to teams and leaders.

Project shut-down

After all project commitments have been met, submit notification of intent to terminate a project.

Confirm the reason for each project termination; escalate to the Regional Director when the reason given is associated with the performance of work within one of the region's country teams

Communicate the notice of intent to end project, summarize direct costs that must end at midnight on the effective end date for each project.

2) Regional Resource Coordination and Oversight:

Responsibilities include -

• Annual budget preparation
• Monthly budget analysis
• Asset management

3) Leadership Support:

Responsibilities include -

Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Southeast Asia region's International Director (ID);

Provide continuity support to country teams when the Southeast Asia region's ID is traveling or out-of-office.

A Global 3PL Logistics entity, seeking for a Logistics Operations Manager to lead a team in the management of logistics and warehouse operations to achieve targeted performance and required service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the logistics operations

• Responsible for P&L of the operations

• Supervises and develops staff

• Provide inputs for department’s future needs and operations by defining roles and responsibilities for the team

• Drive Lean Warehousing System

• Constantly look for improvement opportunities along the value chain, to streamline and re-engine the processes to achieve and exceed the service standard or target.

• Enforce security and work safety measures and controls in the warehouse.

• Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer metrics (cost, quality, Customer Service and Supplier Performance)

• Train and manage the team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in shipper (managing 3PL) / 3PL environment

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management/ Engineering or equivalent work experience in the logistics field

• Prior experience in managing an operations size of 40-60 personnels will be an added advantage

• Good working knowledge on warehouse management, inventory planning, local distribution and transport management.

• Possess strong leadership skills

• Good communications and interpersonal skills

• Good understanding of customs and regulatory issues related to Logistics

• Experience in WMS systems and possess good computer skills

Willing to work 6 days rotating shift, on weekends and public holiday.
