Job Description

This position supports the Head of Sustainability Strategy Unit to (i) spearhead and review the sustainability strategy development and delivery of the Campus Sustainability Roadmap 2030 and its key sustainability programmes, (ii) partner faculty and administration cluster stakeholders to co-own sustainability targets and projects to reduce university’s environmental impact, and (iii) position campus sustainability communications to achieve the strategic messaging of developing sustainability best practice within higher education sector, contributing to Singapore’s sustainable development and climate agenda.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support the Head to review the planning and implementation for the Campus Sustainability Roadmap 2030 and its key sustainability thrusts using an evidence-based approach
• Work in close collaboration across university clusters (faculties, research, education), divisions and units to achieve university sustainability targets.
• Bridge key communication gaps through dialogues on key communication and engagement platforms (e.g. Internal Circulars/Letters, NUS Sustainability emails, NUS News, events) to drive awareness and ownership of sustainability targets/projects, and improve carbon literacy to foster greater buy-in
• Promote sustainability and climate action philosophy and values within NUS and UCI family.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental-related sciences, engineering, architecture, behavioural or social sciences
• At least 5 to 8 years experience in sustainability profession
• Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to engage and interact effectively with all stakeholders within and outside the organisation

• Be the main point of contact for clients and internal teams in relation to AML/KYC onboarding and lifecycle management, including guidance to the front office on documentation requirements.
• Perform client AML/KYC onboarding in accordance with Group FCC framework & internal policies and procedures.  
• Review and conduct source of funds & wealth corroboration of clients in line with regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with AML/KYC requirements for individuals and different types of entities e.g. Companies, Partnership, Financial Institutions, Trusts etc.
• Well-versed in Enhanced Due Diligence for high-risk cases including PEPs, Adverse Media, Sanctions, and other independent recommendations to mitigate identified risks.
• Ensure client database is up to date and accurate in relevant software and systems used for the onboarding and ongoing monitoring stages of the lifecycle.
• Monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) across business segments for ongoing reporting and highlight potential risks to local management for review and consideration.
• Ensuring that applicable Compliance policies and procedures are kept up to date for changes in regulations and in regulatory expectations and that management and staff are kept apprised of such changes.
• Assist with internal initiatives from time to time which include but are not limited to quality assurance, audit and/or regulatory inspections.
• Provide guidance as subject matter expert and act as a resource for junior team members.
• Conduct training for and alongside internal team members and stakeholders as and when required.
• Contribute ideas and participate in transformation and change initiatives to drive continuous improvement to further enhance key deliverables.
• Contributing to Group and Local governance and oversight forums – e.g. Acceptance, Continuation and Exit Committee (ACE), Risk & Compliance Committee (RCC) etc.
• Stay up to date with new AML regulatory changes and developments to brief team members and clients on applicability
• Support the department as required within the confines of role.
• Undertake any additional reasonable duties as required the Firm.

Remuneration:

-Basic Salary: $1800-$1900

-Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am-6.30pm, Sat 8.30am-12.30pm

-Able to perform overtime. Take home salary $2500-$3000

- conversant with Microsoft word/ excel, data entry

- Drafting of Contracts

- Liaising with Contractors and Tenants via Whatsapp for Appointments

- Manage and administer general office admin works

- Maintain proper filing and documentation

- Able to work independently

- Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Prefer Diploma Holder, CEI certificate would be advantageous

Able to Focus and Complete Task Assigned.

Discipline in Tracking Task to Completion.

Familiar with iMac Computing and Email.

Attend to do Paper Documents Submission at various Government Departments.

Coordinate with various Parties on Repair Works.

Assist in Video Call Interview.

Working hour is 9:30 am to 5pm.
