We are looking for an Events Manager to join our team!

As an Events Manager, we rely on you to:

• Analyses market trends, reviews direct competition, implements proactive strategies to meet market changes
• Work closely with relevant teams to maximize catering revenue through effective space management
• Handles incoming/outgoing inquiries and correspondence
• Conducts hotel inspections and/or handle walk-in inquiries
• Provides professional advice, menu recommendation, upsell/cross sell hotel services
• Coordinates event requirements, food tasting etc with organisers and hotel operating teams
• Attends and provides support to all events/functions
• Develop juniors under their guidance to prepare them for future growth opportunities in sales and events

We are looking for someone who:

• Has passion to implement and drive catering revenue strategies
• Enjoys interacting with people
• Is professional, experienced, independent and self-motivated
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (as well as the local language)
• Preferably with hospitality-related work experience

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to tax manager to ensure tax compliance of corporate tax, GST and other tax regulations to the tax authorities in Singapore and other Regions.
• Prepare tax schedules for income tax assessment and prior tax queries.
• Prepare monthly tax provision and quarterly reporting to parent company.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for GST and income tax queries from IRAS.
• Attend to tax queries.
• Raise payment voucher for GST payment.
• Assist to prepare GST Return.

Requirements:

• At least 1 to 3 years of Tax experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other business-related field, with a Professional Qualification as recognized by ISCA. An SIATP accreditation would be an added advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mind and meticulous.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
