• Experience in scripting languages, statistical analysis languages, databases, and linux a strong plus
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
• Markets familiarity and interest in a role at a Hedge Fund, Bank or Trading Systems Vendor (example roles could include, electronic trading coverage, client connectivity, trading systems develop or a desk quant)
• Experience with electronic equities, FX and futures trading a strong plus

We seek a Financial Engineer/Analyst to join our growing team. This role will involve working closely with financial institutions, leasing companies, clients, and family funds, ensuring seamless financial management and optimal business decision-making.

Job Brief:

We are looking for a Financial Engineer/Analyst to provide data-driven insights on Freyr’s profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving financial performance, enhancing process efficiency, and supporting long-term strategic goals. This individual will also support the company in securing and maintaining financial relationships with leasing companies, banks, and large investment entities.

Responsibilities:

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statements, forecasts, etc.) to support the company's goals and financial standing.
• Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
• Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
• Develop financial models, benchmarking, and process analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Conduct business studies on past, present, and future financial performance, and develop forecast models.
• Identify trends, advise the company and recommend actions to a senior financial analyst based on sound analysis
• Reconcile financial transactions, compare data, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance and market developments to inform financial strategies.
• Consult with management to guide and influence long-term and strategic decision-making within the broadest scope.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the financial function.

Requirements:

• Proven working experience as a Financial Engineer or Analyst, preferably within industries such as leasing, banking, or investment.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
• Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages.
• Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis
• Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and current financial subjects.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience dealing with clients in financing or leasing sectors such as banks, family funds, or venture capital.
• Strong financial modeling skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of the Southeast Asia business environment, especially in markets like Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

You will be part of the Managed Services team. Your responsibilities include technical administration, maintenance and troubleshooting. You are expected to work with our client to ensure IT Support Services are delivered based on agreed service level definition, much to the satisfaction of both customers & company. Managing customer’s expectation is part of your job scope, which required of you to work closely with external & internal project team members. You are expected to be a fast learner, to acquire technical implementation skill as and when needed due to business requirements. You need to have a strong analytical and problem-solving skill, so as to excel in supporting our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor condition of server, apps and security measures
• Identify, log and resolve technical problems of the scope (Incident Management)
• Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels (Service Request / Incident / Change / Patch Management)
• Respond to site to troubleshoot, diagnose and rectify faults
• Liaise and coordinate the recovery of systems
• Identify potential changes and system improvements for consideration and implementation (continuous improvements)
• Create, maintain and distribute reports of progress to service delivery manager.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Good knowledge of windows operating systems, Clusters, NLB, or Unix
• Good knowledge of OS Provision, hardening and patching.
• Good knowledge of Solarwinds, Manage Engine.
• Good knowledge of AV solution such as Symantec.

• Good server experiences like AD administration & basic networking experiences
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure support is required for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:
