Orchard Road Presbyterian Church (ORPC) is a family-oriented church with members from all over Singapore. We are a multi-generational church with 1000+ worshippers from all walks of life. Founded in 1856, our Church has a history which spans over 165 years. Our church is very centrally located next to the Dhoby Ghaut MRT interchange.

We are prayerfully seeking a suitable individual to provide digital and IT support to our church.

POSITION: IT EXECUTIVE / IT ASSISTANT MANAGER

Reporting to the Church Office Manager, as an IT Executive / IT Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the digital and IT operations of the church. The position designation will depend on the experience of the individual we recruit. You will work closely with the pastoral, admin and lay leaders. You will manage and optimize the church's digital platforms, systems, and infrastructure to enhance productivity, efficiency, and performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security, system stability, and operational efficiency. Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
2. Work with external vendors, partners, and agencies to manage digital and IT-related projects, services, and contracts. Evaluate and select vendors based on their expertise, capabilities, and cost-effectiveness. Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
3. Foster a positive work culture that encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous learning.
4. Liaise with various ministries on their expenditure of digital and IT.
5. Keep and update a record of the church Digital, AV and IT assets and equipment listing including coordinate periodic physical verification of assets and monitoring of items for write-off. Check and verify the accuracy of all invoices and claims for payments for purchased digital and IT services.
6. Assist in the effective and efficient running of the church office and sharing in some of the general office duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT management, preferably in an enterprise environment.
3. Good knowledge of digital marketing principles, platforms, and tools, including website development, social media management would be advantageous but not mandatory.
4. Good understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
5. Project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
7. Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and guide a team towards achieving common goals.
8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and drive innovation and change. Professional certifications in digital marketing, IT management, or related fields are a plus.

• Comfortable and discrete in handling confidential and sensitive information (PDPA).
• Committed to standing as a moral and upstanding representative of the church community.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for management of leases which includes preparing and checking lease documents, checking and activation of contracts, preparing and maintaining tenancy schedule and monthly management reports for submission.
• Showing of available units, following up with leads and offers, and offering a good insight into market rental comparisons to propose lease rates etc
• Responsible for lease documentation, audit checks on leases and tenants, arrears management, tenant and other related lease management functions.
• Enter information and data into the system and maintain the database, as well as monitor the status of lease documents.
• Execute the arrears management process in collecting payments from tenants of a portfolio of properties, prepare arrears report on a regular interval and present the recovery plan for delinquent cases.
• Develop and maintain cordial relationships with tenants and attend to all feedbacks/requests promptly.

Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Estate Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or its equivalent.
• At least 2 years of of relevant experience in lease management.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.

Sales Strategy

• To implement all aspects of sales related activities such as planning, monitoring, and measuring of customers within the defined territory.
• Conduct market research on competitive sales packages.
• Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Craft and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that harmonizes with our overarching business objectives and brand vision.
• Increase closing rate for both new and regular customers.
• Increase the average ticket size for each transaction.
• Ensure staffs meet individual KPIs.
• Identifying competitive base price and retail price for packages.

Operations

• Ensure outlets are kept tidy and clean.
• Ensure all staffs are properly groomed according to the corporate grooming policies.
• Take charge of all refund disputes.

Sales Team Leadership

• Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team specialized in the wellness industry.
• Set sales goals, monitor team performance, and provide feedback and coaching to achieve targets.
• Foster a positive team culture to encourage collaboration and self-motivation.

Business Planning

• Analyze sales data to track performance, identify trends, and optimize sales strategies for the company.
• Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics affecting the wellness industry.
• Providing sales monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecast to the CEO.
