9. Provide Direction, Coaching, Guidance, Mentoring and Evaluation of senior sea staff to ensure that all operations are carried out safely & successfully whilst also enabling senior sea staff with their individual career progression & development.

13. Act as part of the Shore base Emergency Response team as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineer Officer Qualification, with First Class Chief Engineers Motor license from an IMO whitelist country; OR

Job description:

Incident Management:

• Coordinate efforts across L2 and L3 support teams for timely incident resolution.
• Escalate cases involving process failures that delay resolution or result in SLA breaches.
• Attend regular incident review meetings to ensure open incidents are addressed promptly.
• Generate periodic service reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze incident trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure incidents are documented accurately according to the Incident Management process.
• Conduct reviews of major incidents to capture insights and finalize improvement actions.

Problem Management:

• Lead root cause analysis sessions to identify fundamental issues and preventive measures.
• Track follow-up actions to ensure timely resolution of problem tickets.
• Analyze and log problem tickets for future reference.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in incident and problem management within a large organization.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities to manage customer relationships effectively.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex technical and process-related issues.
• Self-driven and capable of working independently.
• Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
• ITIL 4 certification is a plus.
• Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

Your primary responsibilities include:

1. Drink Preparation: Expertly preparing various types of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to recipes and customer preferences. Tailoring coffee orders to meet specific customer requests, such as adjusting sweetness levels, milk alternatives, and flavorings.

2. Customer Service: Providing friendly, efficient, and personalized service to customers.

3. Equipment Maintenance: Operating and maintaining coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other tools. Ensuring equipment cleanliness and functionality.

4. Quality Assurance: Upholding high standards of quality in every aspect of coffee preparation, including coffee bean selection, grinding, tamping, and extraction.

5. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the coffee bar area, including workstations, serving counters, and dining areas. Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

6. Inventory Management: Assisting with receiving, storing, and rotating stock as necessary.

7. Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other team members, including fellow baristas, kitchen staff, and management.

8. Upselling and Promotion: Recommending additional menu items, such as pastries, snacks, or merchandise.

9. Continuous Learning: Staying informed about coffee industry trends, new brewing techniques, and specialty coffee varieties. Participating in training sessions and workshops to improve coffee knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cafe barista is required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Attention to detail and a passion in making various coffee drinks.

• Available to work shift hours which include morning, afternoon, weekends, and public holidays
