Key areas of responsibilities

To increase total revenue opportunities for the serviced residences under all segments such as transient, leisure, medical, relocation, corporate and etc.

1. Manage and increase traffic conversion on the serviced residences website.

2. Manage and actively coordinate all online marketing activities.

3. Take an active role of updating in terms of website content of all third-party websites.

4. GDS - Drive the revenue of GDS channels / review GDS advertising pricing with vendors / max. revenue from the respective GDS.

5. OTA and others - Ensure rate parity across all channels / manage promotion.

Primary Responsibilities

• To manage room inventory and rate categories with the objective of yield maximization for the serviced residences.
• To develop and implement policies and procedures pertaining to the revenue management functions as well as maintain and optimising proprietary and online channels.
• To be responsible for the overall management of the Reservations and Revenue Management activities to achieve budgeted goals for all segments.
• To track and establish pickup trends, occupancy history and market segment development in order to facilitate forecasting process and to enable proper sales tactical action plan based on real trends analysis and information.
• To provide lead indicators of the market for executive decisions at the management level.
• To work on room revenue management, towards to goal of meeting budgeted revenue targets for the serviced residences.
• Directly responsible for managing distribution channels and all dynamic rates and achieving budgeted targets.

Job Function

• To compile and complete rate analysis through the various distribution channels, analyse mix of business through daily trends, segmentation reporting, historical data, yield management and competitive analysis.
• To read and analyse reports and market intelligence in order to make inventory yield recommendations to gain market share.
• To compile and review 10-day forecast along with weekly forecast projections; develop assumptions to ensure full market penetration and maximization of revenue sources.
• To review and update GDS property information; market data; familiarization and recommend various promotion programmes.
• Maintain rate parity on online channels and promote production on low cost distribution channels such as brand website and direct reservations.
• To assist sales efforts in providing action plans for revenue maximization, forecasting and budgeting.
• To work with Sales and Reservations to achieve optimal distribution channels, synergy and cross-sell purpose. Chair and conduct daily and weekly revenue meeting to outline strategies and hurdles within our systems to ensure the highest mix of room occupancy and RevPar through the various booking sources.
• To train and improve the performance of reservations and all front office personnel responsible for upsell revenue and category management
• To regularly audit distribution channels and all segments for compliance to approve rate grid. To ensure all rate grid and reporting guidelines are followed. To work closely with Sales Department. To communicate strategy to all relevant departments via regular revenue meetings.
• To maintain optimal forecast accuracy and a forecast outlook of 3 months at any point of time.
• To maintain channel availability and visibility with one year availability of best available rate at any point of time.
• Besides selling rooms, the Assistant Revenue Manager will also handle all other promotional events of the serviced residences.
• Any other suitable task or project as and when assigned by the Management.

Skills and experience required

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or an equivalent/relevant
• Min. 2 years of working experience in the hospitality industry or a similar role
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Self-motivated, dynamic, result-oriented individual and a team player with strong business acumen
• Knowledge of Property Management systems and Microsoft Office applications

KidSTART Singapore Ltd. (KSL) is a non-profit organization, incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee under the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) in Sep 2020 to support low income families with children 0-6 years old in child development, especially through the KidSTART programme.

Description of Division

You will be part of the Regional Team under Service Management Division of KidSTART Singapore Limited (KSL) to oversee the effective implementation of KidSTART programmes in each regional cluster or across the various regional cluster(s), oversee service management and audits of KidSTART Agencies (KSAs), funded healthcare partners and manage relationships of cross-regional partners/stakeholders such as MSF Social Service Offices, Family Service Centres, Preschool Operators, Polyclinics, Hospitals, who are part of the KidSTART eco-system of delivery and ensure alignment with KidSTART Service Model and overall KSL strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service Development

a. Assist and support the Regional Head in the design, planning and delivery of service development initiatives (such as annual workplans and budgets, Service Standards Requirements, operational dashboard & data analysis).

b. Support the development of engagement strategies with preschool chains and centres, including the development of collaboration protocols and attendance tracking system.

c. Review and enhance the collaboration framework between KSL and KSAs as the main KSA liaison officer.

2. Service Management (KSL and Funded Partners)

a. Assist and support the Regional Head to carry out regular contract management and programme monitoring of KSL teams and KSAs to ensure compliance with Funding Agreement and drive achievement of programme deliverables.

b. Conduct data verification and onsite assurance in accordance with service standards requirements.

c. Monitor manpower recruitment and training of KSPs and KSA staff to ensure capacity and capability in service delivery.

d. Perform main liaison role between KSL, ComLink+ and KSAs to support the KidSTART-ComLink+ integration.

e. Supervise incident reporting, incident management, and investigation to ensure appropriate resolution.

f. Provide support to KSAs in times of crisis to ensure continuity of service to KidSTART families.

3. Service Management (Community Partners)

a. Ensure regional implementation of ComLink+ - KidSTART integration, in accordance with the policy, principles, and the agreed processes and delineation of roles. This includes:

i. Conducting regular engagements with regional SSOs to establish progress of CL+ integration at the regional level.

ii. Consolidate, troubleshoot, and address queries from internal (KidSTART practitioners) and external stakeholders (SSO FCs, FSC, preschools, etc.)

b. Represent KidSTART at regional/local engagement platforms by Social Service Offices (SSOs), such as ComLink+ Alliance Working Group (CAWG).

c. Partner KSAs, government, and community agencies in the region to support KidSTART families.

d. Manage requests, queries, and feedback from community partners in the region.

Competencies

• Strong administrative, facilitation & communication skills with a proven track record in programme management and building community partnerships
• At least 4-5 years working experience in the social service, non-profit or community sectors
• Familiarity with systems thinking, community development approaches and/or the early childhood landscape will be an advantage
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills; exercises initiative and displays innovation in coming up with solutions
• Adaptable and flexible in managing varied stakeholders and partners
• Able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Job Responsibilities

• Engaging and ensuring the safety of the community forum as an administrator and moderator.
• Organising various community building initiatives to cultivate and grow participation in the community forum e.g. organising community conversations, sharing content on the platform, addressing user questions etc.
• Supporting product development work including developing user journeys and creating evidence-backed content for the platform.
• Building up and documenting a network of volunteer peer supporters and professional therapists.
