Job Purpose

• Provide specialist support and interventions for students individually or in small groups as directed by the supervising teacher or HOD
• Assist teachers, staff and the Leadership Team with the organisation and running of the Elementary School

• Support the Learning Support department in our mission: to support students socially, emotionally and academically to help them to achieve their potential as learners and to participate fully in school life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in ensuring the well-being and safety of the Elementary School Students
• Support teachers with the delivery of the curriculum and learning activities
• Support the teachers with the provision and organisation of learning resources
• Be a role model for Lasallian Values and School Vision, Mission, Values and the Virtues Programme

Learning Support Department Specific Tasks and Duties

• Provide support and interventions for children, individually or in small groups, as directed by the Head of Learning Support / AP Student Success
• Regularly liaise with the Homeroom and Learning Support teachers regarding the support and interventions provided

Specific Tasks and Duties

• Prepare learning materials for the teacher by making, photocopying or organising resources
• Observe and monitor student behaviour in the classroom, during transitions and at recess reporting any matters of concern to the appropriate teacher
• Assist the teacher during special events in the class and during school wide celebrations
• Create displays and signage in the classroom and corridor areas
• Sort, audit and organise classroom resources in preparation for the next term

Curriculum and Pedagogy

• Provide specialist support and interventions for students individually or in small groups as directed by the supervising teacher or HOD
• Liaise regularly with the supervising teacher or HOD regarding planning and teaching of identified groups or individual students
• Use 1:1 and small group support strategies, resources and programme
• Deliver 1:1 and small group support tasks as directed by the Head of Dept and AP Student Success
• Assess and feedback suggested next steps for each student supported through 1:1 and small group tasks, to the Head of Dept and relevant grade level teachers via the Learning Diary

Communication

• Communicate with teaching and administrative staff, Teaching Assistants, TA Resources Coordinator, the Leadership Team and students effectively, respectfully and in a timely manner
• Report to the AP Student Success any matters related to child safeguarding, Health and Safety, discipline or personal concerns

Collaboration and Relationship Management

• Work collaboratively and purposefully with assigned teachers and other Teaching Assistants
• Support teachers with the organisation and management of the students as a class, in groups or individually whilst promoting high standards of behaviour and discipline
• Collaborate and communicate regularly with the AP Student Success and TP Resources Coordinator as part of a team that supports the academic, social and emotional development of each child

Self-Evaluation and Quality Assurance

• Participate in the school’s evaluation process as a reflective practitioner and use this as an opportunity for professional growth
• Seek opportunities for professional development through a range of opportunities such as professional reading, in-school or external workshops

General Areas of Responsibility

• Be an advocate of the school and its decisions during interactions with students, staff and the community
• Lead in nurturing a Lasallian Catholic ethos by building upon the legacy and tradition of the school firmly anchored in Faith, Service and Community

• Maintain updated knowledge of Child Protection and pastoral care generally

Similarly, our PSLE Power Revision Programme coaches students on methods to tackle PSLE papers and achieve academic excellence through impactful and memorable experiences. Since its inception in 2008, this programme has been raved about by parents and has prepared our students to approach their examinations with confidence.

Through imparting the joy of learning to our students, ISUN has enabled thousands of students to master their subjects with a renewed interest and rekindle a love for learning. Position: Educational Assessment Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop various assessment methods, including tests, performance assessments, portfolios, and formative assessments tailored to arts education.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify patterns, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in student learning and program effectiveness.
• Review and align the curriculum with assessment standards and objectives to ensure coherence and comprehensiveness.
• Conduct workshops and seminars to keep educators updated on best practices and emerging trends in arts education assessment.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of assessment tools and practices.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, arts organizations, and community members to promote and support arts education.
• Stay informed about current research and developments in arts education and assessment.
• Assist in budgeting and allocating resources for assessment-related activities and tools.
• Ensure necessary materials, technologies, and resources are available and effectively utilized for assessments.
• Identify and implement educational technology tools that enhance assessment processes.
• Regularly evaluate arts education programs to identify areas for improvement.

Job Requirements

• At least a bachelor's degree in arts, education or related fields.
• Minimum 3 to 5years of relevant experiences in similar industries.
• Proficiency in designing various types of assessments, including formative, summative, performance-based, and portfolio assessments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey assessment results and recommendations to educators, administrators, and other stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret assessment data and generate actionable insights.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms for assessment and data analysis.
• Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple assessment projects simultaneously.

• Carry out review of design and method statements, on-site inspection, audits, investigation and submit findings of safety incidents
• Liaise and coordinate with the Authority's Consultant, Contractor(s), Interfacing Contractors, Instrumentation and Monitoring (IM) contractor(s), QP(D) and AC
• Attend meetings, discussions, give presentations/briefings to the Authority and agencies to obtain approval to commence works
• Provide specialist review of method statements, daily reports, records of installation, instrumentation reports, performance of all plants and equipment and any other associated submissions
• Review the design and fabrication reports of the large diameter TBM and ancillary plants
• Audit the large TBM compliance with the design and provide specialist review during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at the manufacturer's factory overseas
• Attend and provide specialist review on TBM, Plant setup and site acceptance test (SAT)
• Review tunnelling parameters and instrumentation results throughout the period of tunnelling and to provide comments and recommendations where required
• Attend technical, safety and site meetings that require advice and decision in relation to large diameter tunnelling works
• Attend meetings to resolve coordination, technical, cost and other work-related issues
• Provide monthly and final wrap-up review of TBM performance in relation to design, tunnelling operation parameters, including modifications made to TBM & ancillary plant, processes , troubleshooting, comments & recommendations
• Submission of reports

Requirements:

- Relevant and recognised Degree in engineering

- Minimum 15 years of experience in design and supervision of tunnelling works, of which at least 5 years' experience in supervision of tunnelling works of similar complexity using TBM of more than 10 meter in diameter (large diameter TBM)

- possess professional working proficiency in English

Responsibilities:

· Identify new market opportunities and generate new sales leads

· Follow up on sales funnel and ensure successful completion of projects with prompt customer service and satisfaction

· Plan and develop sales plans to achieve sales objectives & monthly sales target

· Manage entire sales cycle from pre-sales discussion with customers, prepare quotations, negotiate orders, contract review to post-sales support

· Develop and conduct presentations explaining products and provide product knowledge to new and existing clientele

· Provide technical & sales support to key clientele like Architects, Lighting Consultants, Interior Designers, Landscape Designers and M&E Consultants

· Maintain and develop trusting long-term relationships with new and existing customers through understanding their business activity and needs

· Promote and represent the company professionally at trade exhibitions, events and product demonstrations

· Prepare reports and forecasts as and when requested by the management in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

· Minimum Diploma in any Electrical/ Electronic/ Mechanical/ Building Engineering

· 3-5 years of relevant working experience

· Lighting experience is not necessary but would be an asset with experience in lighting control

· Strong passion in sales and highly driven to achieve targets

· Enjoy working with a dynamic team and able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment

· Meticulous and ability to multi-task with good organisation skills

· Possess strong interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills

· Good problem-solving skills and ability to work as a team
