Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . The Centre for Ageing Research and Education (CARE) is an academic research centre in Duke-NUS Medical School. Drawing on its multidisciplinary expertise and collaborations across medical, social, psychological, economic, and environmental perspectives, CARE’s research is situated in eight broad thematic areas: Population Health, Family Caregiving, Community-Based Health and Social Care Services, Productive Ageing, Falls, Ageing and the Environment, Health Communication, and Social and Psychological Aspects of Ageing.

We are seeking a full-time Research Assistant to join the team. The selected candidate will work across research projects, with the primary responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

• Perform data management including data cleaning, quality and consistency checks, and preparation of codebooks.
• Work with other researchers on interpreting and analysing quantitative data.
• Contribute to preparation of reports, policy and research briefs, presentations, and research papers.
• Conduct follow-up assessments of study participants over the phone.
• Support other project management tasks.
• Assist with other initiatives at CARE where required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Epidemiology, Gerontology, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, or other related disciplines.
• Prior work experience in quantitative data analysis will be advantageous.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to take initiatives to learn on the job and manage assigned tasks.
• Motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as with others in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Candidates with relevant work experience may be considered for a Research Assistant (Senior) position.

The Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) is a research institute of the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR). We are looking for an individual with a passion for science who is highly motivated. A successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of researchers working at the forefront of quantum technologies. In this position, you will be a member of Quantum Photonics and Information group and mainly work on continuous variable (CV) based on quantum information technology.

In this role, you will work on the following but not limited to:

• Development of high-performance sources to generate squeezed light.
• Characterizing the squeezed light.
• Continuous variable (CV) quantum information.
• Large cluster state generation & characterization.
• Collaborate with other group members to exploit the advantages of CV quantum systems in various applications.
• Quantum metrology & sensing.
• Data processing, programming, and automation of lab setups.
• Scientific dissemination (journal papers, conferences, and patents)

Job Requirements:

• PhD degree in physics/optics, or closely related fields
• Candidate with relevant experience or PhD training experience are welcome to apply.
• Substantial hand-on experience in experimental research in quantum optics and quantum information is advantageous.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment for quantum optics experiments, including lasers, optical components, and detectors.

Scientist/Senior scientist will be part of heterogeneous integration group focused on development of the quantum packaging technology platforms to integrate qubit and control chip on superconductivity interposer.

He/she will work with cross functional team to:

• Design and simulation of superconducting circuits for salable quantum processor in 3D flip-chip architecture.
• Explore and develop superconducting nanowire base photo detector.
• Design and layout of circuits components of a superconducting qubit.
• Develop design rules and PDK for quantum packaging technologies.
• Provide quantum packaging solutions to meet the system requirements based on the simulation results.
  Prepare competitive grant research proposals and lead execution of these proposals.
  Engage industry partners to align and develop the building blocks required for next generations quantum packaging platforms.

Job Requirements:

• Master/PhD in quantum computing; Electrical and Computer Engineering; Material science area
• 4 to 5 years’ experience in superconducting circuits design and simulation for scalable quantum processor. Deep understanding on 3D quantum package
• Working experience on measuring loss and dielectric constants of materials at cryogenic temperatures
• Strong communication, industry awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated to succeed, a self-starter who is driven and able to work with others effectively to get things done.
