We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team in the Trade Promotion Department “DEinternational”.

DEinternational is the business services and consulting arm of the SGC. The team serves clients in their business needs through business matchings, organising corporate events, trade missions and business trips, market studies and market entry consultancy. Our clients and projects span across a multitude of industries: Energy Efficiency, Smart City, Industry 4.0, Finance, R&D, Biotech, Cyber and Civil Security Technologies and many more. The Senior Consultant is in charge of consulting companies about the Singaporean and German market to further promote bilateral trade between Singapore and Germany.

Responsibilities:

· Market Entry Consultation

o Completing client-specific market research to determine product/service potential and developing tailored market entry strategies

o Individual business services for customers, such as client-specific research to seek potential business partners

o Planning of business trips for clients, interested in meeting with potential collaboration partners

· Project Management

o Support in planning, preparation and execution of conferences and workshops as well as delegation trips and projects funded by government institutions

o Compiling comprehensive market studies

· Acquisition of Market Entry Services

o Preparation of individual proposals and cost calculations

Required Qualifications and Skills:

· 1-3 years of pertinent working experience in trade promotion

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Fluent in verbal and written English

· Fluency in German is mandatory as you will be required to prepare reports and documents in German (and will be in constant contact with German speaking clients)

· Thorough understanding of German (business) culture is required

· Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams, Zoom and knowledge of other hybrid event/digitalisation software platforms is a plus

· Excellent writing skills

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for procurement payment submission, strengthen and grow relationships with vendors and suppliers through timely payments.
• Support the APAC team and handling complex tasks and payment requests.
• Review and check invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment, and prepare analyses of monthly payment reports.

Requirements:

This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of program implementation, ensuring high-quality delivery, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) including but not limited to learner engagement, course completions, and credentials issued.
Key responsibilities:

• Program Implementation & Management: Oversee the rollout of the training program through partner organizations to drive pre-determined learner outcomes.
• Partner Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between our organization and partner entities. Facilitate communication, resolve issues, and ensure partners have the necessary resources and support to effectively deliver the program.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze program performance against KPIs, including learner engagement rates, course completion rates, and the issuance of credentials. Implement strategies to address any gaps or areas for improvement.
• Internal Management Processes: Managing and coordinating across CSR sub-teams to ensure internal stakeholders are aligned/consulted/informed, budgets are allocated, project-based learning marketing and communications processes are managed.
