Primary Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the GM will take on a proactive role with the High-Performance Technical Director (TD) to develop the organisation's profile and prominence within the sports industry.

The GM will be responsible for the management of the organisation’s financials, human resources, and day to day running of Singapore Gymnastics operations. Together with the Technical Director, the GM will develop the organisation’s profile and prominence within the sports industry and develop strategies to diversify revenue streams and promote the sport to attract sponsors. Responsibilities

Leadership

· Establish with the TD and BoD the vision and values of SG with a focus on creating value for the Members.

· Develop in consultation with the TD, and recommend to the BoD for adoption, a strategic plan consistent with the vision and values of SG.

· Identify business opportunities which are consistent with the vision, values and strategic plan of SG;

Qualification Requirements

. University Degree or Diploma, in fields of Business Administration, Physical Education, Sports Management or other sports-related· discipline. Diploma holders with more years of relevant experience may also be considered.

· 8-10 years’ experience with a successful track record in business management and development.

· Demonstrate knowledge in planning and possess good organisation skills.

· Financial knowledge and experience in managing a budget and a team.

· Experience in managing diverse needs of various stakeholders.

· People/Stakeholder Management experience

· Strong communicator in both written and oral English

· Good inter-personal skills to engage with stakeholders.
