About this Role:

The Digital Content Editor is responsible for planning, production, and digital content development for CWM’s digital platforms such as the website, YouTube and other social media channels. He/she has to assemble recorded footage into a finished product that matches the CWM’s vision and message to its targeted audiences such as CWM member churches and ecumenical partners around the world.

Reporting to the Mission Secretary for Communications, the successful incumbent is a key member of the Communication team that enhances CWM’s presence on its various digital platforms by strategizing and producing creative, sharable contents and increase audience’s engagement.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

· Plan and schedule digital contents for publish on CWM Mission work in the organisation’s digital platforms.

· Collaborate with team-members to generate ideas for various content platforms from editorial to social.

· Lead full video production process including conceptualization, storyboarding, filming and post-production edits, checking content for accuracy and cogency.

· Work closely with Content Creation and Programme Management Teams to assist with internal and external filming needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

· Minimum a diploma in Editing and Multimedia Productions and Videography.

· At least three (3) years of working experience with digital technology and editing softwares packages (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or any industry leading video editing software).

· Understand production and post-production workflow from production to delivery.

· Able to set up and operate camera, sound recorder, lighting equipment and other production-related skills.

· Knowledge/experience in video streaming on relevant streaming platforms would be an added advantage.

Mediacorp Brand Studio is hiring a talented and experienced Assistant Editor for its growing content marketing team. Candidates should be passionate about creating impactful content that spans across different formats - from print articles to digital and social media copy - and mediums that include audio and video. This role within commissioning is responsible for working across and delivering independent and in-house commissions for Chinese (primary) and English (secondary) unscripted content.

This role is important to delivering our strategy, working with both In-House Studio and the External Production Houses to commission content based on a deep understanding of audience needs. OVERVIEW

The Deputy Managing Editor, International will lead the digital editorial team in APAC, shaping news and features coverage, acting as deputy to the Managing Editor on decision-making for International Digital, and updating the global site with fresh content on a real-time basis. The role is based in Singapore, and reports to the Managing Editor, CNBC International Digital based in London.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Form a digital news and coverage strategy on a daily and longer-term basis for CNBC.com in APAC
• Support the Digital Managing Editor to execute upon their content strategy for CNBC.com International, driving our editorial agenda to the highest possible standard
• Strong partnership with the Digital Managing Editor, acting as a secondary decision-maker for CNBC International on an as-needed basis, reinforcing editorial guidance provided by the Managing Editor to stakeholders both inside and outside CNBC.com, and standing ready to make unplanned, global editorial decisions
• Consult with senior TV producers in APAC on coverage decisions during and outside of APAC market hours to ensure that CNBC.com has a complementary editorial presence across all media
• Lead the APAC-based Digital team, made up of Editors, Correspondents, Writers, and Video Editors based in Singapore and China
• Provide guidance and support to the line managers in your department, providing opportunities for training and career development and fostering collaborating across teams and bureaus
• Act as a hot seater for CNBC.com, updating the site in a timely manner using strong editorial judgment and knowledge of business and financial news

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

This role within commissioning is responsible for working across and delivering independent and in-house commissions for Chinese (primary) and English (secondary) unscripted content.

This role is important to delivering our strategy, working with both In-House Studio and the External Production Houses to commission content based on a deep understanding of audience needs.
