Key Responsibilities:
ā Managing all activities related to the purchases of the products needed by the company at the best possible cost.
ā Oversee and ensure the company stays in control of its inventory needs and to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost.
General Duties & Responsibilities
ā Lead procurement activities related to Country Business Operations (Direct/Indirect).
ā Negotiate and purchase products/goods at the most competitive price, and value and delivered on time.
ā Actively sourcing, benchmarking & negotiating to determine the lowest cost vs quality ā for innovation, and alternatives.
ā Responsible for timely issuance of Purchase Orders in accordance with the companyās policies and procedures, and adhering to the authority matrix set up by Finance.
ā Continually improve the purchasing/procurement procedures and drive down external spending.
ā Ensure a well-maintained procurement database either through our system or manual records/documentation.
ā Utilize system, data, and technology to identify cost savings and monitor spend analysis
ā Build strong working relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
ā Ability to continually identify new suppliers, agree on terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate, including discount structure, volume rebates, or cost reduction.
ā Evaluate prospective suppliers according to the companyās expected quality and commercial standards.
ā Ensure regulatory and compliance standards are adhered to and ensure appropriate approval is in place for products delivered to Singapore.
ā Manage product quality complaints.
ā Plan, organize, and maintain the fleetās activities.
ā Prepare reports/data of procurement from time to time, as may be required by the country or Regional
ā Meeting Annual Cost Savings KPI and responsible to report cost savings initiatives via BTS system.
ā Any other tasks as assigned by Senior Management.
Inventory Management activities would cover some or all of the following:
ā Replenishment Lead time & On-time replenishment of inventory to business
ā Responsible for the total carrying cost of Inventory
ā Physical inventory, stock accuracy & minimized stock variance
ā Inventory Forecasting ā in collaboration with cross-functional teams
ā Maintain optimal inventory level to ensure timely availability of products
ā Participate in Monthly Stock Take
ā Review Stock Issuance usage and report any movement of concern.

ā Proficiency to operate independently.
ā Tertiary qualifications (or it's equivalent) in the following fields Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related field.
ā At least min. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the delivery and management of procurement services.
ā +3 years experience in managing a team in a sub-functional environment.
ā Experience in using Inventory Management System.
ā Proficient in the use of computer applications and systems (eg Windows/ChromeBook)
