Responsibilities:

• Manage purchase requisition, quote and purchase order documents and processes
• Review the purchase requisition report & check the demand vs material lead time vs MOQ & purchase price
• Raise portal to request sales manager approval for excess PO quantity due to MOQ
• Work with planning on material pulling in to support manufacturing needs
• Managing and follow up the delivery schedule on raw materials to ensure timely delivery
• Handle rescheduling request pull in, push out base on demand
• Manage incoming materials to avoid excess materials holding
• Work on excess PO cancellation with supplier
• Resolve account payable issue
• Shipment arrangement with the supplier
• Request advance payment in the Portal with the Finance for the supplier with advance payment term

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Material Engineering or any Engineering field or equivalent
• Minimum two years experience in EMS/Manufacturing environment
• Knowledge in PCBA and electro-mechanical.
• Team player with a positive attitude and organized in administrative duties

This position will be based in Singapore to use their specialized knowledge to maintain an efficient procurement system to supply cost effective materials and services to support the company’s operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the procurement function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations. Act as an interface between suppliers and relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.

• Maintain system integrity of supplier’s info in the ERP system, such as items suppliers connect, purchasing agreements and supplier basic data like MOQ, order multiple, purchasers responsible and supplier maintenance.

• Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost down, new programs and improvement opportunities or mitigate the risk.

• Create and review opportunities on alternative materials and or suppliers to meet the business unit objectives in procurement activities and deliver best values and business savings.

• Collaborating with our technology to understand our company needs as well as work with our existing/new suppliers to determine company strategic alignment.

• Understand the trend of raw material / feedstock related, update the information to commercial team, provide analysis on costs, new and cost savings activities. Develop strong partnership with suppliers.

• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers, provide analysis on costs, new and existing and review cost to achieve savings. Establish r/s with suppliers to leverage the needs in term on tight supply situation as well as to be ahead of the market requirement.

• Contribute and communicate the impact on Procurement activities to new business initiatives and projects. Involve in Global procurement project activities.

• Assess and evaluate supplier’s performance reviews, compiling data relating to supplier performance to enable evaluation.

• To audit supplier supply capability and quality standard when required. Maintain proper documentation in accordance with ISO procedures.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Material Science or other relevant discipline

• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in related field preferably in petrochemical industry

• Manage the packages in your category for competitive pricing and work closely with the key stakeholders to create a competitive, scalable and resilient network.
• Work with suppliers to create more value and capture a good share of that value for Infineon by using data analysis tools, negotiation techniques and a structured negotiation
• Monitor and improve operational performance together with the segment as well as manage supply risks and ensure capacity provision and standards
• Be responsible for the supplier relationship management – including defining and controlling the communication and driving necessary business related escalations
• Ensure accurate and smooth procurement operations and setup and ensure supplier enabling
• Develop and execute category strategy and tactics within the overall OSAT Procurement category strategy

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in Procurement or a Sales & Marketing function
• Degree in Business Management with technical focus on Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar program
• Functional expertise in procurement knowledge and negotiation skills in addition to general knowledge of manufacturing processes, logistics, contract management, and quality management
• Effectively communicate and successfully manage relationships both with external and internal stakeholders
• A good understanding of semiconductor production, preferably backend, and have an affinity for technology
• Excellent communication skills, well versed in English (speaking, reading and writing)
• Willing to travel worldwide 15% of the time

PURPOSE

You will be responsible for handling of Order Fulfilment (Purchasing), Control & Manage Inventory and support & assist the Manager in achieving the departmental goals & objectives.

JOB DUTIES

• Responsible for strategic buy to meet Customers’ demand.
• Responsible for managing forecast to suppliers and maintain optimum inventory level.
• Ensure the availability of goods with alignment with Planning Team to meet Customer Request Dates.
• Understand and manage risks to minimize gap in supply. Initialize risk buy if necessary.
• Monitor and highlight potential material obsolescence due to forecast changes.
• Responsible for any excess buy and ageing Purchase Orders.
• Take follow-up actions and escalate in relation to any delinquency that affect Customer on-time delivery.
• Develop and drive process improvement & procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Analyze and implement supply chain solutions eg JIT/VMI process to meet inventory turns.
• Review and ensure Purchasing Strategies stay relevant for each material.
• Responsible for the correctness and completeness of the purchasing parameters in the Database Management.
• Execute any other tasks assigned by Manager.

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Business Central or related ERP systems.
• Experience in production planning & control / forecasting / inventory management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management

• Strong execution skills in Microsoft Office esp Excel & Power BI.
