We are looking for a Deputy Head of Compliance that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes over the next 6-12 months.

Mission:
To support the Head of Compliance and Risk in championing a culture of tech-enabled compliance and risk awareness across our global operations, making use of technology to ensure robust adherence to regulatory standards while fostering continuous improvement in policies, training, and processes. Outcomes: 

1/ Review and Approval of High-Risk Client Assessments
Review 100% of escalated high-risk client cases within 2 hours, providing constructive feedback to the compliance officer on any oversight or areas for improvement. Present each case to the Head of Compliance for final approval within 4 hours.

2/ Timely Management of Screening Alerts
Ensure that no name screening alerts remain outstanding for more than 24 hours, and no transaction monitoring alerts remain unresolved beyond 48 hours.

3/ Quality Review and Reporting
Conduct quality reviews of Low/Medium/High-Risk (L/M/HR) cases, covering at least 20% of each risk category. Prepare a findings report with suggested remediations to improve overall quality and adherence.

4/ Investigation Timeliness and STR Filing
Complete and/or review  that at least 80% of investigations within 15 calendar days, ensuring that any required STRs are filed within 15 calendar days of closing the investigation.

5/ Enhancements to on-board and on-going monitoring Processes
Identify and recommend key improvements in conducting client risk assessment, transaction monitoring or screening processes, implemented with Product and IT teams. Supplement the roles and responsibilities of the Head of Compliance and Risk during his absence, ensuring seamless continuity in compliance operations, and effectively manage any tasks delegated by the Head of Compliance and Risk

6/ Regulatory Monitoring and Policy Updates
Monitor regulatory changes across all jurisdictions where Sleek operates, update the obligations register, and ensure compliance policies remain current and aligned with regulatory requirements.

7/ Training Development and Delivery
Be a key contributor to designing, developing, and running training programs for compliance officers and Sleek employees, ensuring a strong compliance culture organization-wide.

8/ Inspection and Licensing Support
Support the Head of Compliance during internal audits, regulatory inspections, and licensing applications or renewals across Sleek’s global footprint.

9/ Compliance & Risk Dashboard Management
Establish and maintain a compliance and risk heatmap dashboard to facilitate prioritization and decision-making for initiatives and resource allocation.

To do this, you will have a minimum of 6 years experience as a Senior Compliance Officer or Internal Auditor and you will be located in Singapore.

As the Compliance and Money Laundering Reporting Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing compliance and serving as the primary point of contact for anti-money laundering (AML) matters within LMAX Digital Broker Singapore. Team Summary

Visa is looking for a Compliance Manager based in Singapore to be part of Currencycloud’s Asia Pacific (APAC) Compliance and Regulatory team. Currencycloud is part of Visa Group entities and covers Visa’s regulated payment business within Money Movement Solutions (MMS) in APAC. Currencycloud is also consolidated under Visa Direct which streamlines all of Visa’s cross border payments under one unified branding. What a Compliance Manager does at Visa:

Based in Singapore, this position will support the Currencycloud APAC Head of Compliance and Regulatory who is also the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) of Visa’s regulated entity as a Major Payments Institution (MPI) in Singapore, covering AML/CFT and Sanctions compliance matters. This position will be reporting to the Currencycloud APAC Head of Compliance and Regulatory based in Singapore and is a newly created position as part of Visa’s expansion plans within the APAC region.

The core responsibilities for this role are as follows:

·       Support Singapore MLRO in the development and maintenance of robust AML/CFT and Sanctions frameworks which are in line with the Singapore’s Payment Services Act (PSA) and the relevant subsidiary legislations issued by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as well as Visa’s Global Compliance and other International AML/CFT and Sanctions standards. Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline
• Any relevant professional qualification or certification will be an added advantage.
• At least 6-8 years of work knowledge and experience in compliance.
• Proficient in compliance advisory on regulations, policies and standards, including knowledge in area of data protection compliance area, privacy management.
• Must be proficient in MS Office and its applications.
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate and summarize clearly to non-technical audience with a strong EQ.
• Proficient in report writing and presentation skills.

Job Summary: The Compliance Officer is a crucial member of our organization responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves overseeing the surveillance services designed to detect behaviours that may violate regulatory rules or Moomoo SG’s internal policy and procedures. Effective communication with various departments is essential for maintaining a robust compliance program.

Compliance Officer

Responsibilities

• Undertake the investigation and assessment of transaction monitoring alerts. Collaborate with relevant departments to evaluate and address potential issues identified through transaction monitoring. Ensure that all reviews and investigation conclusions are adequately documented.
• Perform trade surveillance checks across various asset classes, including but not limited to equities, derivatives, and cryptocurrency transactions. Ensure that all reviews and investigation conclusions are properly documented.
• Contribute to the design and development of systems to enhance surveillance coverage. Communicate with the product team to ensure the system functions as designed and developed.
• Stay informed of regulatory updates that may impact the surveillance program, and continuously seek ways to enhance the program to ensure it remains relevant and up-to-date.
• Develop and update compliance policies and procedures. Ensure that policies and procedures are aligned with changes in local laws and regulations.
• Facilitate effective internal collaboration. Serve as a liaison between compliance and other departments to foster a coordinated approach to compliance. Work collaboratively with legal, risk management, and other teams to address compliance-related concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to regulatory requests from regulators and upstream providers.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned, ensuring the effective completion of all responsibilities.

Requirements

• Preferably to have a degree or diploma or any other equivalent qualifications in business, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in compliance roles with at least 2-3 years of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy.
• A proactive and reliable team player but can also work well independently.
• Experience with Nasdaq SMARTS and Athena will be a Plus.
• Preferably to have Professional certifications in compliance (e.g., CAMS, ICA Diploma).
• English speaking and Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage
