What the role is

The Pollution Control 1 Division (PCD1) is responsible for the control of air and water pollution, hazardous substances and toxic industrial waste. • Manage QC lab tech scheduling and plan work force utilization to ensure efficient use of resources
• Track and assist department in achieving KPIs
• Ensure that products are effectively inspected/tested, and that product/process quality data conformed with specifications
• Ensure continuous compliance to Good Manufacturing Procedures
• Monitor and analyze process / product outputs, identify systemic problem / opportunity areas, provide data to the divisional team(s), and work with team members to drive process improvement project towards zero-defect quality performance.
• Resolve process related to quality issues, ensure corrective action plans are initiated and monitored
• Manage efficiency and safety in the laboratory.
• Ensure timely review batch records and release of finished products upon completion of testing and inspection.
• Lead to review effectiveness of corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) system.
• Supervise QC laboratory operations.
• Coordinate with other departments and conduct investigations as an area expert for appropriate discrepancies.
• Assist in developing departmental strategic staffing plans and justifications for headcount and capital equipment requests.
• Promotes laboratory safety working culture. Review opportunity to achieve zero incident.
• Perform as SAP Superuser for Quality function.
• Lead to attain food safety management system certification, ie. ISO22K.
• Lead to plan and organize regular audits to the production and quality operations for compliance as well as to co-ordinate and document corrective action programs
• Lead to review Change Management, Audit management and CAPA Management are effective.

Job Requirement:

• Min. Degree in Food Science or any relevant
• Min. 3-4 years experience in food manufacturing QA/QC
• Experienced in lab sampling/ testing and leading a small team

The quality control’s scope of work consists of, but not limited to, the following:

• Responsible for Incoming, In-process and final inspection of company's raw materials, goods, end products and etc.

• Serving as management representative for all ISO related tasks.

The Successful Applicant

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-3 years working experience as QC in manufacturing industry or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in various aspects of quality management system, eg ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & etc.
• Responsible, able to work independently & lead the team.
• Able to work in fast pace environment, tight deadlines with pressure.
