Your Team, Your Impact
As a test development staff engineer in the Operations business group, you will test features on the silicon semiconductor chips Marvell produces for internal and external customers. You will make sure we don’t ship out any underperforming units. You’ll work closely with design to make sure their chip features are testable and that the results meet the customer’s specifications. You may even have to write new code or develop new testing strategies when our chips outpace the capabilities of current testing equipment.
What You Can Expect
- As an ATE Engineer, you will be responsible for developing test programs and hardware on the ATE (Automated Testing Equipment) for characterization and production testing of very high performance networking semiconductor devices.
- You will need to be able to utilize the ATE equipment tools and capabilities to optimize its performance without compromising the quality of outgoing products.
- You will also be responsible for developing and tracking the fully life cycle of the project from beginning to its final completion.
- You will be developing test plans and supporting various phases of manufacturing. Be responsible for design, development and verification of new firmware features
What We're Looking For
• Education: BS in EE (Specialization in Semiconductors)
• Skill in Advantest 93K ATE tester
• Knowledge of high speed ATE hardware design
• Skill in programming/scripting (C & C++ or Python or Perl)
• Knowledge of Digital and Mixed Signal design and test
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrate project management, team work and leadership necessary for successful project completion
