Responsible for the proper exercise of QHSE Policy and Procedures required and safely performing testing operations and inspection in line with specifications, standards and procedures in meeting test schedule per customers’ delivery time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• The role requires understanding of complex flow loops, auxiliary equipment’s such as pumps, motors, heaters, heat exchangers, compressors, and related power equipment’s such as switch gears, feeders, UPS, drives, transformers. Versatility and to act with agility in a safe manner in a very complex environment is a must
• Work at height certification, Forklift certification and overhead crane certification is preferable.
• Adept at managing vendors/contractors during construction, maintenance and upgrading works
• Working experience with high-pressure high-temperature system is an added advantage
• QHSE Responsibility: Comply with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment) policies and Standards; Comply with government laws and regulations on Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment;
• Applying 5S QC work area environment and participation in continual quality improvement program.
• Carry out test procedures according to written procedures and directives. Ensure testing operations are performed safely in the testing facility.
• Installation and pull of heavy equipment’s
• Conduct pipe fittings work, heavy assembly work
• Conduct inspection and full load test on motors.
• Conduct inspection and testing of pumps both horizontally and vertically.
• Conduct vibration test on pumps, gas handler, protectors and motors.
• Conduct high-pressure testing such as hydrostatic test
• Conduct minor maintenance work as per PM schedule.
• Assist in the installation, verification, calibration and servicing of all available measuring instruments such as pressure transducer, flow meters.
• Conduct minor trouble-shooting work on all available test systems including test instruments and equipment.
• Monitor inspection and testing instruments, equipment and tooling recalibration requirements to ensure all are calibrated and maintained to an applicable standard.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NTC-2/3 Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with maintenance of Oil heaters, gas booster systems, charge pumps, compressors, dyno’s is preferred

Job Title: Inspector, QA

Responsibilities

• To perform quality check of products from incoming (sub-contracted works of offset printing), process and finished products, per identified in Quality Control Process Plan
• To perform first-article and/or client sample inspection
• To update reports on inspection results
• To identify, record, and feedback to QA Engineer and/or Manager on product and process quality issue found during inspection
• To handle daily MRB disposition of defective goods and non-conformance materials / products, and see that appropriate disposition is taken within stipulated time frame. Disposition includes sort, rework, replacement, scrap actions
• To carry out training or re-training for new inspector at superior’s arrangements. Training effectiveness shall be validated by superior on periodical interval. (trainer must be identified by QA engineer/manager)
• To perform housekeeping of work areas
• To carry out additional tasks (eg pull test, raw material check etc) assigned by QA engineer / manager as deemed necessary
