Main purpose of the job  

The primary role of a Global Category Manager – Marketing Communications is to lead and implement procurement strategies, vision, and governance across the organization. This position heads the Procurement team, fostering unity across regions and promoting the sharing of best practices and knowledge. Alongside adhering to established governance, policies, and processes, the role involves protecting the company's assets and reputation through effective internal control systems, procedures, and legal compliance. · Review customer RFQ applications/specifications and prepare technical proposals/responses.

· To generate quotations for all divisional products in response to customer RFQ’s.

As the liaison to the region for marketing, advocacy, and thought leadership, the Regional Marketing and Communications Manager, will work closely with the MarCom team leaders, regional heads, managing director, and product and sales teams to provide global and regional marketing support.

How you will Contribute:

• Marketing Promotions: Develops, executes, and measures success of marketing promotion plans, activities, and budgets to support revenue goals. • Sales Support: Provides sales support tools and templates for each stage of the sales and engagement funnel, including presentations, emails, fact sheets, website landing pages, and product information pages.  

• Market/Member Feedback: Participates in regional events, to share key news about AACSB and facilitates feedback from the field to inform internal stakeholders.  

• Event Support: Collaborates with the regional heads and advocacy teams on managing the master event schedule and budget where AACSB is a presenter, exhibitor, or sponsor. Serves as onsite support for AACSB learning and development, member outreach, and advocacy events as required, including social media coverage and media relations support.

As Pre-sales experts, our Sales Engineers are accomplished at dealing directly with clients, along with international colleagues, to help secure results for a global, market leading listed company (NASDAQ: MSTR). • Collaborate closely with consultants, designers, and clients to understand their specific needs and requirements related to HVAC, Refrigeration, and general industry applications.

• Conduct thorough assessments and analysis of the clients' current systems and operations.

• Develop and present comprehensive solutions that align with clients' objectives, focusing on energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

• Provide expert guidance and technical support, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation of our solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate project timelines and deliverables.

• Conduct customer seminar and sales presentation for clients to enhance their understanding of our products and technologies.

• Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to stay up to date on best practices and ensure compliance.

What You Know

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in implementing HVAC, Refrigeration, and general industry solutions, within the Malaysia and Singapore markets, at minimum 4-5 years.

• In-depth knowledge of energy optimization strategies and sustainable practices.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

• High proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies.

• Willingness to travel extensively for customer visits in Singapore and Malaysia.

 Preferred Qualifications:

 While not required, the following qualifications would be viewed positively:

• Professional certifications related to HVAC, Refrigeration, or sustainable energy implementation.

• Experience working with high-profile clients in HVAC or semiconductor sectors.
