Job Duties:

• Support group companies in Southeast Asia, especially in the areas of business management, business planning and strategic activities.
• Governance and monitoring against the business performance of the group companies: including but not limited to Sales, Profit/Embedded Value, Solvency position, Agency performance and key GCs initiatives’ progress. (monthly / quarterly / annually).
• Review GCs’ Ad Hoc Strategic Project that requiresshareholder’s funds or capital. Examples of projects includes but not limited to: M&A, new distribution channels, new product lines, new reinsurance arrangements, new investment initiatives and updates in IT core system change.
• Support the attendees of Board of Directors meeting held at the group companies.
• Conduct the roles as shareholders of the group companies, for example important decision making, communications with regulators, discussions with joint venture partners.
• Report to the parent company located in Tokyo (Tokio Marine Holdings): including but not limited to tabling important GC topics to Management Committee cooperating with the counterparts in Headquarter.
• Planning of the regional strategy in Asia.
• Attend multiple internal committees.
• Overseas’ business travels are required.

Requirements:

• University Degree with professional insurance qualifications.
• At least 10 years of experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge of Underwriting and/or Finance and/or Accounting.
• Proficiency in Japanese language is required to liaise with Japan HQ and to read Japanese reports/documents.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, your job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintains and update all accounts and their bookings. Maintains an accurate and updated clients’ database.
• Ensures that clients’ profiles are recorded and updated in the Property Management System after sales calls/telemarketing.
• Establishes contracts with corporate accounts for continuous business.

Job Description

• Oversee assigned accounts and territories to achieve long-term success.
• Analyze the competitive landscape, market conditions, and collaborate with FAE and Marketing teams to define and implement sales strategies and plans.
• Meet and exceed annual sales and DWIN targets within assigned accounts or territories, continuously monitoring year-to-date performance against previous years.

The Successful Applicant

At least a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of sales experience in the semiconductor industry, handling regional customers previously.

A strong technical understanding of power/industrial applications of semiconductors.
