Fabrica AI OPERATIONS and HR INTERNSHIP 2024

Fabrica AI is creating a future where ideating and developing a robot for any task takes days, not years. We believe that by training end to end controls in simulation with reinforcement learning and above that iterating hardware designs, we can automate the whole development process. At the current stage, the most important resource is a large fleet of robots to validate our approaches for our AI system and to collect data. This would help keep us grounded in reality.

To start building up the fleet, we invented an automatic tile grouting robot that boosts productivity by 5x and are piloting it on construction sites in Singapore managed by Woh Hup, BHCC, Gin Chia, Soilbuild, and Dragages. This should correspond to about 30% of the Singaporean market. We have early leads in the US and Europe as well. Tile grouting is the process of filling up the gaps between tiles after the tiles have been laid. Grouting is part of virtually every construction project and a highly laborious process, is considered one of the most physically damaging tasks resulting in tilers’ knees and back issues, and thus quality issues would also arise. We invented a patent pending robot that is able to automatically grout and clean tile gaps with only a press of a button. The operators would only need to reload grout and water.

We have also pitched at the Built Environment Demo Day 2022 organised by BCA as part of the International Built Environment Week (IBEW) and won the Rising Star Award. IBEW has drawn more than 10,000 individuals from over 100 countries.

Your internship would revolve around bringing our robot to market. You may be remunerated with a combination of salary and share options. It is possible to combine this with our technical internships for a more “hybrid” role. This internship requires a reasonable amount of technical understanding/engineering interest.

Responsibilities

Develop and Implement Product Marketing Strategies

• Conduct thorough research on competitors and perform market research to understand the market needs
• Use the research and knowledge of the company's products to identify clear positioning, determine the best features of products and craft effective messages across marketing channels (landing pages/ad campaigns), develop engaging/educational product marketing campaigns that reach a wide target audience and outline product marketing deployment timelines for the year.

Sales Funnel Management and Develop Awareness

• Acquisition – maximize reach of product content (social media, blogs). Able to determine the effectiveness of each digital campaign (what, when, why, and how) a project plan to determine when this content will be released, and oversee a team that will create the desired content.
• Engagement – Build trust and create conversation with potential customers through events, campaigns, and specific calls to action.
• Conversion and Retention – Convert potential customers into paying customers for one-time purchases and keeping customers loyal through subscription models or add-on purchases.

Develop Effective Marketing Content

• Works closely with the Business Development Manager to develop effective marketing strategies.
• Lead the Marketing and Corporate Communications segments
• Plan/budget/manage roadshows, exhibitions as well as internal and external corporate events.
• Plan/create/edit/optimize a wide range of customer-facing marketing collaterals
• Identify relevant opinion leaders, influencers, media, and content partners who can serve as advocates or partners in co-creating content and developing value offerings.

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as Product Marketing Lead, Brand Lead, or similar role in the B2B space. Background in design and copywriting is a plus.
• Deep understanding of market trends and product lifecycles
• Demonstrated experience in market analysis and demonstrated analytical skills in distilling and using customer data/insights and industry trends to develop communications and content strategies targeted at enterprises to drive marketing qualified leads for sales conversion.
• Firm grasp of ways to develop strategic product marketing campaigns and familiarity with product marketing tactics (integrated marketing campaigns)
• Hands-on experience in adopting digital performance marketing metrics (website traffic search ranking, email open statistics, AB test results, cost per lead, and conversion rate across all funnels) to improve performance, refine content development and distribution, and incorporate as future strategy and actions
• Strong communication and project management skills. Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities across projects, which includes managing advertising/direct marketing and research vendors.
