NQO (National Quantum Office) is a national platform set up to drive National RIE quantum strategy. I&E in NQO is a key function driving the Quantum Innovation and Enterprise development agenda for Singapore.

NQO is hosted in A*STAR and the Office works in partnership with various stakeholders, such as NRF, MCI agencies, MTI / Economic agencies, A*STAR research institutions (RIs), Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), CQT etc. as well as companies to achieve value capture for Singapore in the form of new products and services, increased quantum company presence and activities, creation of valuable IP/TD and good jobs.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist the Chief Innovation and Enterprise (I&E) Officer in developing and implementing a go-to-industry strategy for Quantum.
• Support various Quantum initiatives in achieving their I&E outcomes.
• Engage with relevant companies to understand their businesses, products, service offerings, and technology needs.
• Engage with local research performers in Singapore to understand their capabilities and relevance to companies.
• Facilitate industry partnerships with local research performers at an ecosystem-level through mechanisms such as research collaboration agreements.

Requirements

• >10 years of working experience in product development and/or commercialization in a deep-tech field related to Quantum (such as semiconductors, computing, AI).

JOB DESCRIPTION

THIS IS A 2-YEAR RENEWABLE / CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE.

The Executive, Corporate Programmes II, is part of the team responsible for planning, execution, and facilitation of events and programs development focused on corporate groups. The jobholder will report to Manager, Corporate Programmes II.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in development and implementation of innovative and engaging corporate programs and events, applying an innovative mindset to conceptualisation, planning, coordination, execution, and facilitation.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships to support the development and execution of events and programmes.
• Incorporate creative ideas and the latest trends into content development and event conceptualization to deliver unique and memorable experiences.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to develop and deliver tailored events and programmes for the target audience.
• Manage event inquiries, requests, or correspondences promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, partners, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations for corporate programmes and events.
• Manage the procurement and service requirements for various aspects of the programmes which include compliance with the company’s procurement procedure for acquiring goods and services.
• Plan and coordinate the deployment of Part-timers (PTs) and External Facilitators (EFs) for programs and events.
• Handle and respond to feedback from clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor post-event surveys and conduct analysis for continuous improvement.
• Support other team members in the Corporate Programmes division and School Programmes teams for key events and programs, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Experience in an agency environment will be advantageous.
• Experience in content development, event conceptualization, project planning and procurement procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and innovative mindset.
• Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
• Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and follow timelines.
• Willingness to work on weekends or nights occasionally.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when required.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator) are optional but would be an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and approach prospective customers, projects, or markets to obtain new business opportunities.
• Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage and grow the company's regional channel partners and distribution network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and retailers.
• Achieve sales goals based on the business strategy.
• Attend to customers to address any sales-related questions.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing plans.
• Responsible for regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
• Conduct competitors’ analysis and stay on market trends.

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Or it's equivalent
• Min 2 years of related sales experience
• Able to travel oversea within short notice
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
